Need budget Disney Halloween costume help!

Mic-feel free to intrude!!! Don't worry about it!

I am purchasing from SueEllen so mine is taken care of.

I was going to buy a $10 certificate from ebay, but our Disney store an hour away closed and nearest one is now 2 hours away. So that wasn't an option.

The Aldi's add from yesterday said they were going to have Dis costumes for $9.99, but they weren't open on Sunday. If you have an Aldi's near you it might be worth checking.

Party City had a few bins..

In the bins (cardboard) there were three prices $5, $10 , $20

There were Disney ones in the $10 and $20 range.
You can check them out to see what they have.

does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives to this dress? I found out the dress was only available in stores after searching for a picture of it online(to take to a seamstress).

Did you try calling WDW Merchandise Guest Services to see if it was available at the parks? If it is, they can ship it to you (for a fee of course  ).

My DD had her heart set on a Cinderella costume for Christmas two years ago. She saw it while we were at WDW - she didn't want to buy it then, that would have been to easy! ....but right after our return, she wrote a letter to Santa, saying that all she wanted for Christmas was this Cinderella dress.....The CM at Merchandise Guest Services knew EXACTLY what I was looking for when I called, and shipped out the entire outfit in no time flat!

Their # is: (407)-363-6200. If nothing else, it doesn't hurt to ask! Good Luck!

Mic, they have the shoes for Jasmine at World of Disney at DTD Marketplace. We bought our DD the Jasmine crown there, as she has the costume from the park, and the tiara at the store didn't match... the shoes at the park are solid gold, and should do just fine, though!

Glad I could help out. Belle is on her way.

Thanks, eeyore! I remember the shoes you are talking about! I had not thought of just getting the shoes at WDW!

AKASnowWhite-My understanding from the CM was that this dress is a TDS exclusive, but I will look for it while we are at WDW in early Oct. The World of Disney would definitely be a great place to start.

jgates-thanks for letting me intrude. It is hard to find outfits for older girls. My 14-year-old has been a good sport most of her life about humoring me at Halloween. She was a Disney character every year until she turned 12, then she was embarrassed. That's why it surprised me so much when she asked for this dress! I may actually realize a 14-year-old dream this year: A picture of my 3 girls as Disney princesses, and my son as a prince(his sisters claim he would make a much better beast!). I have 2.5 weeks to make it happen.

Mic, are you talking about the red Christmas Belle dress that was in the Disney Stores in August? If you are, they should be back in around the middle of October. As for the cape, it should be in around the end of Sept, according to our Disney Store. They are gorgeous, aren't they? Yes, they are exclusive to the stores!

eeyore--Yes, the red Christmas dress(from "The Enchanted Christmas" movie). Disneystore.com has a child's red dress for $85.50, but I am not sure if it is the same one. Even if it is, the largest size available for order is a girls 10/12, which is 1 size too small. The cost is a little prohibitive for me, but if I can't find anything else, I will break down and buy it at the store. Thanks for asking!

The deluxe Red Belle Holiday dress is in the new Disney Catalog, as are Deluxe Snow White, Cinderella, and I think Aurora. I just got mine in the mail today (which means it is available for online ordering).
