I have some pirate material, lots of olaf, and halloween material that I would like to make mickey ears for our cruise in Sept....I can make olaf ears more boyish...but I don't know how else to accessorize them to be more for boys than girls......maybe I am worrying too much...like girl or boy if they like ears they do....
So moms of boys....what kind of ears with orange, black, pirate material with headbands do you suggest?
I am so overthinking and worrying about this!!LOL

I think the blue mickey cap can work...keep bringing ideas.
At what age, do boys not want to wear headbands with mickey ears? My hubby still would!!LOL

Have you thought about putting them on a cap rather than a headband?

Something like this?

Hum, that could be an idea but costly...we wanted to give away a bunch when we cruise...

You could do Star Wars or Peter Pan/Hook or Jack Sparrow for the boys. If you're sticking with the Frozen theme, then definitely Olaf or the moose (what was his name?).

How about Stitch?

Buzz Lightyear. Andy.

Cars, maybe?

Of course, Mickey is a boy.

And Donald Duck.

And an oldie - Zorro.

Simba, Aladdin, Tarzan, Prince Naveen, the Beast, Flynn Ryder, Pinocchio, Bambi, Tramp, Wreck-it Ralph, Mike Wazowski, Sully

I was thinking about this today because I have no ears for my son...and his Mickey ears hat is a little small from when he was little. My DD and I have a bunch of different headbands. I know that my son wouldn't wear a headband though, nor would my DH, so I'm not sure that really works for the boys to be honest.

My son is 11, and he won't wear Mickey Ears like those. He says they're headbands and for girls.

He does have 1 pair like this that he still wears.

My son is 12 and he wouldn't wear a headband. We are cruising in April and I made him pirate ears using a cap. That he will wear. I need to make headband ears for me still!

LOL. When I was growing up, "headbands" were called sweatbands. All the basketball players wore them, so did all the students (male and female) in my Dad's karate school. I don't see anything particularly girly about them. But somewhere along the line, I guess things changed.
