Need best hotel for night before cruise

I'll be flying into Orlando the night before we cruise. What is the best place to stay for comfortable and relaxing atmosphere? Need indoor pool. Jacuzzi and room service is a plus!

Also, what is the best way to handle trip to port before cruise and from port to airport after cruise?

I vote for the Radisson at Port Canaveral!! We stayed there before our cruise in October and it was great. They allow you to leave your car their for free, and they will shuttle you to and from the ship. It really worked out well for us. We stayed in a one bedroom suite that had a whirlpool tub and it was $99.00 a night.
If you go to the radisson.com site and search for that hotel, you can go on a virtual tour and see what it is like.

We will stay their again for our next trip in Oct 2004!!

I have stayed at both the MCO Hyatt and the Radisson at the Port, and personally I prefer the Radisson. It is so easy to get to and cheaper to get a rental car and pay for the transfers. Also, because Dave has such extensive info on his site, you can see all the things that are very close to the Radisson that you can do once you get there. It doesn't have an indoor pool, and neither does the Hyatt.

Because Florida is supposed to be a warm sub-tropical climate, very few hotels have indoor pools. Even the top hotels tend to have their pools outdoors.

Dave! Your site is GREAT!!!

I read it and it's very helpful.

The kids love a pool and I love a jacuzzi. So, even if the pool is outdoors, maybe some are heated? The reason I ask is because the cruise is on 12/28 and having lived in FL for a few years I know it can get chilly in the evenings in winter.

Any suggestions for on the Cocoa Beach area? Prefer indoor pool, but I'd settle for a heated pool, this will be my only decision point to pick a hotel.

I was hoping to hear from someone's experience, rather than call all the hotels on Dave's great list. Thanks again, Dave, for the awesome website!

The Radisson main pool is not heated "warm," but they knock the chill off. They do have a large hot tub that is nice and toasty.
