Need Advise on off-site transportation

During our December trip my wife and I are considering spending a day at Universal (don't tar and feather me). The problem is that we are not planning on renting a car at the airport. How would be the best way to get from our resort hotel (Port Orleans) to Universal and back.

Hi,

There are two places on WDW property where you can rent a car: at the Car Care Center, and at the Dolphin Hotel. You can also take a car service, Mears, or Lynx to USF.
