Need Advice

I entered my Mother-in-law in a sweepstakes and she won a $1000 KMart gift card. We are going to WDW in late Jun for 8 days. She wants to use the card to pay for things we will need for our trip. We are renting a house off site so we'll be cooking most of our meals. All the KMarts near my house are now closed so I can't remember what kinds of things we can buy there. So far on the list I have

sunscreen
film
water bottles
sodas/juices
paper plates (I may be cooking but I ain't doing any dishes)

What other kinds of things can we cross off our list of things to bring and buy at KMart? Does anyone know if KMarts in FL sell WDW tickets? That would be really cool

i doubt that kmart sells tickets. only because walmart does.

what about ponchos? if you arent going to do dishes~plastic silverware? maybe some beach towels? snacks for the parks? bottled water if you carry it in the parks?

kmart also sells disney clothes so maybe a few t-shirts for the kids?

KMART used to have an online shopping site. You may be able to order things before you go along the lines of beach towels, new shorts/shirts.
Also, if you wait until you get there and you can find a SuperK, they have the limited grocery section. You will be able to get breakfast foods, milk, snacks, ect.

Sunglasses, sun hats, new socks, bathing suit, swim shoes, fanny packs/backpack, mister fans (you will need this in June), disposable ponchos (we divide our days by half and take that many for each of us), sunglass cords, disposable cameras for the kids, always a new outfit or two.

you can check bluelight.com or kmart.com for big purchases... do you need luggage? I got some very nice luggage there... they also sell those AWESOME brita sports bottles that a lot of people rave about on here. Plus they sell tons of snackfoods and goodies... sunglasses beach towels...gum for the plane... tylenol...you name it and you can get it at kmart... I work there and my mom is a manager at another kmart so my family is pretty pro kmart.

They have cute beach bags and backpacks for the parks, fanny packs, sun hats, sunglasses and straps, water shoes for the family, beach towels to take to a water park, swimming gear for the pools, cute sandals....

Congrats on the sweepstakes win, how nice of her to want to share it with all for your trip

I've bought and used light sticks (blue, yellow, red, and green) that the kids can wear around their necks for about $4 for 4. They hang from a string that is provided. They are much cheaper than the glowing items sold at the parks when it gets dark. I just throw two in my fanny pack and get them out when it gets dark. Saved a bundle. You'll find them in the camping section.

You can also find the mini squeezable flashlights that the kids can put in a pocket.

I also bought a foldable cooler at K-Mart that I plan to bring into the parks. It looks like a beach bag.

Also, K-mart has the best socks. Check out the Joe Boxer brand. They are thicker and sturdier than most others. Look for the ones with a bit of lycra in the materials...
