For our trip this past November we stayed at the Poly. It was our first time staying there, we have stayed at the GF for the past several trips. We paid for only a garden view room and requested the Tokelau building which we got. Our view from our balcony was directly across from the Tahiti building but off to the left was a view of the lake and the Contemporary in the background. It was a lovely (and quiet) view. I wasn't sure if you wanted to upgrade your view, but if you wanted "standard" then Tokelau is a good bet. Also, the rooms in Tokelau (and a couple of the other longhouses) are somewhat bigger than most of the standard rooms at the Poly and all of the rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor had balconies. This is not the case with all of the longhouses - some only have balconies on the third floor with a "fake" balcony on the second story. All first floors have patios if I am not mistaken. All in all, we really liked the Poly and I would stay there again, but dh really prefers the GF. Hope this helps!
