Hello,
I was in WDW this April for the first time and unfortunately thinking it’ll be my first and last time, I over did it and I did not enjoy myself at all because of feet pain. I have BAD spur problem on both of my feet and I thought I had prepared myself by getting orthotics, pain killer, etc. but within hour of walking, I was already in pain. Because we wanted to get most rides as we can for each park, we never took breaks and went to parks (including Universal) for 7 days straight from rope drop to late night.
Anyway, it looks like I might be going again November 4th through 12th because my son is doing Food and Wine 10K and ½ marathon and wants me to go with him. In April, we were fortunate to do most of the rides for all parks so in November I want to do something different. Instead of concentrating on rides, I want to do more of “sightseeing” at the parks, take many breaks, and take more pictures. Looking at the pictures from April made me realize that I didn’t have much of pictures as I thought.
I would love to hear ideas from all you experts, what I can do to make myself more enjoyable.
Some of things I thought of:
· Take advantage of EMH and take break by going back to the resort (did not do EMH in April because we were going by easyWDW recommended days) to take a nap and maybe go back later evenings
· Try few TS (since we had CS last time) such as Sanaa, Beaches & Cream, 50s Prime Time Café, Sci-Fi Dine-In, and Kona Café since we didn’t do any TS in April to try to save time. Not into buffet or character dining since we are adults.
Most likely we’ll be staying at Pop again. Read other posts about doing:
· Explore other resorts – which ones would be best and to get there, would I have to go to closest park, get off, and then ride bus to different resort?
· Boat and monorail rides – where is the best place to ride them and get off?
· Boardwalk – other than restaurants, what is there to see?
Any other suggestions? Thank you
