Need your advice for avoiding crowds but getting most out of MK.

We are hitting the parks on a Tuesday and Thursday first week in May... There are 4 adults in our party and 2 kids ages 8 and 5. We already have dinner arrangements in MK and Epcot set.

What would you do?

1> Tues- Do Epcot in AM to avoid Spectro crowds. Hotel break, then go to MK for dinner ressies in Crystal Palace, get a few rides in, then Spectro.

Then on Thursday, do EE at MK, then hotel break, then to Epcot for dinner and Illuminations

OR INSTEAD.....

2> - Do MK all day Tuesday, hotel break, then back for Crystal Palace dinner and Spectro. Do Epcot all day on Thursday with dinner ressies at Garden Grill.

Is it better to break it up and do half days at both, or face the crowd at MK and go for a full day? Too much for the kids to do two different parks in one day?

Your thoughts? Thanks,

I like breaking it into different parks on the same day. Sometimes when you are already in a park and planning on being in it later you might just want to stay. That break back at the hotel is a great idea and really gets you ready for the night time activiites.

So I would go with option 1.

I would choose #1 also. The little ones will probably need the break.

KaySayBolt99,
I will be at the parks the same days as you. Maybe we'll run into you. We will be at the MK on tuesday and Thursday. Have a great trip.
ADP :D

As far as crowds go I don't think it really matters. Early May has low crowds so you should be able to get a lot done with either plan. However, with young children I like the idea of an afternoon break. Since you'll be taking a break anyway, decide if you want to change parks for a change of environment of if you just want to finish the rest of the am park.

I too am planning on being in MK on Tuesday. I hope everyone doesn't have the same plan that we all do. Oh well, a crowded day at MK is better than any day at home.
