need advice... LTT Oct. 3 MNSSHP... early dinner then what?

We have 5:15 dinner at LTT Oct.3... the party does not officially start til 7:00... what are good options for after dinner? We do want to get our pic. made as we arrived late last year and lines were too long to do so... also what is a must do for a 5yr.old little girl? As I said we arrived late and had a 7:45 dinner last year so after dinner we watched the parade and walked around... enjoyed but feel we missed out on stuff because we didn't know what we were doing...
any advice is greatly appreciated!

Ride the rides without any lines!! We rode so many rides between 6 and 7 when they were clearing the park. My kids had a blast walking on to the Tomorrowland speedway over and over!! We also did Buzz and Space Mountain a few times, all before 7 pm. That alone was worth the price of admission!!

Our PS is for 4:35 that same night at Ltt! I plan to eat, then get our picture taken as soon as we can, and be riding whatever we can before the party starts. Just walk around and enjoy an empty MK!

Just another tip - this happened two times last year, so I'm not saying it will happen again this year, BUT.... After dinner, head to Tomorrowland, but shortly before 7PM head to Fantasyland, they had the rides there open a bit before 7PM WITH NO LINES for at least 15 or 20 minutes until people caught on.

Also, see the parade in Liberty Square and get there a little early for the telling of the tale of Ichabod Crane and the headless horseman.

daniluvsdisney, we might run into you at LTT ... we've got a PS for the same night/time I plan on getting our photo taken and trying to get on some rides before 7PM... that way I'll definitely have time to catch the parade!
