I always used HRBlock online for taxes - I pay for Best of Both. This year when the preparer that was assigned my taxes sent me the email for approval - she had lowered my refund for state and federal - a total of $3500. She attached an email saying I didn't have a form entered correctly, however, I've been entering it for 5 years and it is correct. I sent her an email asking if I could make an appt to meet with her in her office - no response. I called her office and left a message - no return call. What recourse can I take? I'm not approving the return as is and losing $3500 - I think the preparer is not familiar with the form I have. Can I contact another HRBlock office to check my return? I can't even look at the return because it appears like it's "locked". Please tell me what I should do.
