Life is busy and always changing for me. We were planning a June trip to celebrate my graduation, but it looks like the perfect job situation has presented itself and I will be switching jobs early this spring (and unable to take time off in June as planned). So - we are tossing around ideas to still get in some Disney time - maybe just a few weeks away in December!

We haven't been to WDW since 2011, and I know Fast Passes are totally different. We would be staying offsite in a condo, so how does that work in regards to securing Fast Pass reservations? Or Dining (obviously, no meal plan - but I would like to try to get a few ADRs before the trip)?

I feel like everything I knew about Disney planning no longer applies, and I am trying to figure out this trip while I am at the end of my semester - so not much time!

Thanks!

We are a party of 5, going to WDW in December. I'm finding it very difficult to change ADRs on certain days (MK - Dec 20/21). The "hardest to get" FP+s are gone, however, they released more for 3 weeks in November (just a few days ago) and I'm hoping the same will happen in December.

I think you need to have tickets linked to your MyDisneyExperience account in order to book FP+ (refer to the above referenced link for the correct answer). You can book ADRs even though you are staying offsite.

You have a lot going on right now. Unless you'll be at WDW during Christmas week, maybe go with just very minimal planning. You could get a couple of ADRs and just pick up your FP+ on the day of.

Thank you both for the info.

Nuzmom - it goes against every fiber of my being to NOT plan, but it's a really good suggestion. We've been to Disney several times and the kids have been on most things (except my youngest - who was too small for some of the rides during our last visit). It shouldn't be terrible busy when we'd be there (Dec 10-17) and it would be relaxing to just go and wing it. I'm going to try NOT to worry about this FP+ stuff!
