Just realized..
We only have a 2 day pass which means we can't use magic morning.
WE are there on Saturday and Sunday. (this cannot be changed)
How will we tour if the park has already been open for an hour?
The BIG thing we want to do is the Nemo subs...help!:scared1:

Save Nemo for Sunday, but regardless, you will have to wait, but more becaue its the weekend, not because of MM. Personally MM has never felt to me like its changed the crowds much. Don't stress over that affecting your trip too much.

Thanks! I am trying NOT to stress but....
I guess I am thinking of WDW EE and how things are crowded early in the morning.

Do you think that Sunday morning will be less of a wait for Nemo?

Even without MM still get there at "official" park opening. DL is much, much less crowded before noon than it is after noon, especially on the weekends. However, you will also find that the crowd begins to thin on Sunday evening as well as all of the daytrippers head back home in the late afternoon.

Use Hydroguy's tips, especially about FP collection early in the day in order to bypass the lines later on as the parks get busier.

Depending on how late you plan on staying, I would probably try for Nemo later on rather than early in the day.

Either Sunday Morning or Sunday Evening. Morning would probably be better simply because then you'll have it out of the way and can concentrate the rest of your time on other attractions. If you waited until evening, you will probably be tired and a long wait for a ride is the last thing I'd want to do when I'm tired.

First, just accept that there will be lines. I find that people who go with already accepting that knowledge, don't get as frustrated because they plan accordingly - knowing they won't see every single thing on "the list."

As for "How will we tour if the park has already been open for an hour?" Well, the same way that many, many, MANY people who have a wonderful day do every day.

As for Nemo - yes, it's best either 1st or last. If you are a late night group, I actually save Nemo for the end. Why? Well, if you are IN line before they cut it, you WILL ride. So, save it for the last thing you do on Saturday, shortly before the park closes. At that hour, many families with kids are long gone and the hot sun is not making the line seem even longer.

That's how I do it, but no matter what "plan" you come up with - figure out what you want to see, narrow your list a little bit, and just enjoy. It IS Disneyland. :)

I have accepted that fact.

I think we will try to go just before park closing on Saturday. Last year we rode in the morning. It would be kinda cool to go at night. Thanks for the idea;)

You are exactly right!

if you really wanna go, I suggest going sunday morning and running straight
for nemo to wait in line. thats what we did, and I think we waited 30 min tops.

Really? only 30 minutes! I hope we will be so lucky.:wizard:

Last summer we had a 3 day hopper and ran like crazy during MM we were on the 4th sub!

Sounds like Sunday morning will be the best.
I feel better now.

Sounds like you nkow this already since you've been on it, but if you have kids in strollers, you can take the stroller into the Nemo line with you. The CMs will park it when you're getting close to the end of the line.

And no running! Walk with purpose. : )

I personally (knowing that I haven't been in summer and we try to avoid going on weekends anyway) think that going for the Must Rides at the beginning of your trip is a better way to go. It might go "down", you might get sick or hurt, you might get so busy with everything you never make it, etc. Now that isn't saying you should go get in line when the line is full of people from MM, but maybe plan to do it a bit later on Saturday, so you're not left without options, if something happens before you try to ride on Sunday.

For me, going into the park on a MM day when I don't have it, I go where people haven't already been for an hour. I go to Adventureland, NOS, etc. The MM people are probably all still stuck in some FL or TL or Nemo line, so I enjoy going where they aren't!

Good thinking bumbershoot!

We will be walking with purpose:goodvibes
Love that way of seeing it!

Will try to get it in on Saturday, maybe at night, right before closing.
