Need a nice hotel near seaworld

:teacher: Stayed at a few.But our favorite 1 is La Quinta Inn on Jamaicen Ct.Only afew miles away.Nice rooms nice pool and jaccuzzi. Also have abar at poolside.

I'm not sure what your price range is, but there is a Renaissance right across the street from Sea World. The Marriott World Center and the JW Marriott are not far away and both have magnificent pools. The World Center has a pool specifically for toddlers and a nice slide in the larger pool and I believe it has a third pool. The JW has a large pool that has two separate swimming areas that connect in a large circle to form a "lazy river" that you could float around in all day!! Not to mention there are several Courtyards and Residence Inns in the general area that are a bit cheaper and have decent pools. There is a "Marriott Village" the exit before Sea World that has a Fairfield Inn, Courtyard, and Springhill Suites that have a separate pool for each hotel. If you are a guest in any of those hotels, you can visit the other pools as well. I could go on forever since I work for Marriott. ;) Just as an FYI, Springhill Suites is a great hotel for families. It has two TVs per room, so you don't have to watch what your kids are watching and vice versa. Plus, it includes breakfast. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the information. We originally were thinking of flying in late Friday and going to Seaworld Saturday before we go on-site at Disney late Saturday afternoon. Thus a cheap hotel at the airport was our plan. Now after looking at our entire week of Orlando itnerary, I think the kids will enjoy it more if we fly a bit earlier in the day--they won't be as cranky at Seaworld on Saturday if we get into Orlando earlier. Thus why we are now thinking a hotel closer to our first stop, Seaworld, would make sense. Plus since it will be an earlier flight, they could unwind and enjoy the pool. DS7 and DD9. This will be our first trip to Orlando. :cool1:

We stayed at a Fairfield Inn last year-not sure the street but it is near the big McDonalds which your children would enjoy. Anyway, they offer a deal with Sea World that made it really cheap. I think you can find the deal on the Marriott's website.

I stayed at Reniassance last week and it was amazing. Great pool and great view of sea world. Walked over to sea world every day and it took less than 5 minutes. Great hotel!

There is a Hilton Grand Vacation across the corner from the parking lot. last time we stayed there we just crossed the street and walked across the parking lot to SeaWorld. Availability pending, you will be able to get studio through 2 Bedroom. Great pools and activities too.

We just returned from a stay at the Holiday Inn Express Lake Buena Vista:cool1: It was just 10 minutes by car to Sea World and the hotel was awesome. Huge, clean rooms newly renovated and breakfast included in your rate. The pool was not huge but plenty big with a cool waterfall and waterslide for the kids...oh and my husband too!!! Great deal...rooms were large enough that we had 2 queen beds with a rollaway in there and still plenty of room for the 5 of us to get around...no where near cramped. You also get free internet access...I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with families and I am one picky person to please when it comes to Hotels. It was also very convenient to restaurants and Disney World and anywhere else...it is right off I-Drive. I hope this helps someone:yay:

We are staying there for our 1st night. The rest of the trip we will be at Hilton Grand but it wasn't available for the 1st night. Thanks for the great review. I have never stayed there but the reviews on Trip Advisor were good so I thought I would take a chance.

Another vote for the Renaissance. We stayed there last summer and loved it. We just walked across the parking lot to Seaworld. We also lucked out and got a balcony room at the front of the hotel. We could watch the fireworks each night after the kids were in bed.

If the Renaissance is a bit out of your price range, do check out the new (refurbished) Hyatt Place. Nice mini suites, flat screen TV, wi-fi, free continental breakfast, small and very disused pool.

Any suggestions for a nice hotel near Seaworld, with a pool?
We have stayed at the Marriott Renaissance - Deluxe Room with atrium view and it was very nice with lots of room for four. It had a large bathroom and had double doors that opened to the atrium area. All you have to do is take an easy-short walk across the Sea World parking lot and you are there.

I stood in the Rosen Center for a pageant final in Orlando. It is very nice and has a great pool. There were also a few great resturant inside. The hotel is literally within walking distance to Sea World. I think you can even see the park from a few rooms.

I stayed there recently and it's top notch.

And the 7 minute walk to SeaWorld can't be beat.

convention in July - did everyone use the shuttle they have from the airport? If so, how did that work out? I can't seem to get a straight answer from the people at the hotel - they said we don't need a reservation for the shuttle - I don't want to get stuck at the airport.

Thanks so much.

My DH is going to Tech Ed 2008 convention June 10-13 and is staying at the Renaissance Hotel by SW, didn't even know there was a shuttle from the airport! He's flying down the 9th and I'll be joining him on the 11th (lucked out on free flights due to frequent flyer miles) and he has added me as a guest to his room, so if there is a shuttle I could go on it too? Didn't even see any information on a shuttle on their website.

I think it's very close to SW, but how close is it? We're staying there in Sept - will we be able to walk?
