We have a big family reunion type trip coming up next month. Some of us are staying DVC, some regular resorts, etc. I am renting a car, but others in my family are taking ME from the airport. We have recently changed some of the guests in our room arrangement so the people who are taking ME don't match up with the guests we have the vouchers for. ( Same # of people and same resort though) Do the vouchers guests recieve state whether the guest is an adult or child? I just got off the phone with a CM who told me not to worry about it that as long as everyone had a voucher we would be all set. I am a little worried however because the adults going on ME are not experienced with Disney and wouldn't know what to do if questioned. I have to get the rental because I'm the only one over age 25. TIA

Okay......are all the people that are currently riding to the resort on DME actually on the resort reservation???
If so, you can be 100% safe and call DME and be sure they are all listed on the DME reservation. That won't be an issue.
But....really, you should be fine in any case. As long as there is a voucher for each person. I can't remember if they ask for ID or not. Even if they don't have a voucher, in their name, in hand, as long as they are listed on the DME reservation, the DME CM can bring them up in their system and print out new vouchers for them, right at the counter.
I would call and make sure that every single person who needs to ride DME is listed on the DME reservation....just to be on the safe side.

You should be fine. But if you are worried about the other people, you could just ride the DME with them and pick up your rental car on Disney property.

This is not an option since I got the rental through Hotwire. GoofyforTink, we do have vouchers for each person, but now the names, ages don't match up. If they don't distinguish between adult and child we'll be all set. I'm just going to have everyone meet at ME and then split up from there.

But....you say that there is a voucher for each person. Is it in that person's name?? Each voucher has a name attached to it...be it child or adult. I don't remember if anyone checked ID's...especially since only one person in the group is supposed to be in line.
So....with that thought....have someone, who has a voucher in their name, get into the line to check everyone in the group in. That is going to mean one person from each room reservation has to get inline to check the guests in their particular room in. Then it won't matter who has a voucher with someone else's name on it. Should only be an issue for those checking everyone else in.

Your plan seems to be the best way to go.

I've been trying to remember myself how/when they check ID. I know I've shown ID when at the counter checking in for ME, but not everyone in my party had to show ID. I THINK I remember showing ID once taking ME back to MCO ( actually showing it to the driver), But I could be mistaken about that.....

One time we didn't add DME in time to have the vouchers mailed but were able to get them at the DME check-in desk where they printed them out. They will be able to make changes there based on what your resort ressie says.

Excellent point. I had forgotten that. Just have to make sure that everyone who wants to ride that bus, either way, is listed on a reservation.
