Hi
I know by reading the disboards & finding out through the Yacht Club Regatta Club's planners. They are doing rehab on the resort, she said it should be done before we get the late Nov. The suites for sure she said. By question is I got on hold a Turrett room (2 bedrooms 2 bathroom) club level. Yes I will have 4 adults. I am not sure what they look like. She told me they are on second floor & third floor on the end facing either SAB (which I don't want :) ) or a view of Crescent bay facing the Boardwalk which I would prefer. So do I put down a deposit? And when I go down in Sept ask to look at one if there is one open? Has anyone stayed in one? Pictures? Worth it? Thanks a lot. Just when I get my Nov/Dec all paid for & made all the ADRS for myself & DH & DS DIL who I will maim if they change their minds on anymore dining. I told them anymore they can call. Remind never to take my family again. Blame it on DH for inviting them yet a second time after the first time they drove me up the wall :rotfl:

So right now you don't have a reservation at all? I would definitely put down a deposit to hold something. You can always change your mind later. I think taking a look at the rooms in Sept. is a great idea. That way you won't have any surprises and you'll know exactly what you're getting. ;) Try doing a search here on the DISboards and also on google. Surely someone has posted pics of that type of room before somewhere. Good luck!!! :thumbsup2

LOL No I have two rooms already paid for but with the rehab going on I wasn't sure if it will be ready on time. This is way I was going to get the Turrett Suite but when trying to put a deposit down last night I was told I couldn't as I have two rooms for same time frame so I was told to make a choice which I did. Told them to cancel the Suite one & keep the two that are paid for. Before I hung up with her I checked the web site & both were there & the one I had on hold said canceled. But now checking Disney web site which must be acting up as one poster said I can't bring up anything. So I am hoping my two rooms (packages) are still there. My Sept trip is not even showing. Worse part of it I have to take my car in early & wait so I guess I will be using cell phone minutes :( Wish me luck !

Wow! I hope your original reservations are still there. That would be terrible. I'm sure it was just a computer error or something like that. But definitely call and make sure nothing happened to them. If you end up going to see the suite in Sept make sure to take lots of pics for us! :)

Yes they are still there thank goodness. It was a mess to say the less. But I found out later this morning they are not doing any rehab on the Yacht Club this year not until 2009. Go figure:lmao:
