I just found airfare from BOS to MCO on American Airlines....nonstop both ways......for our trip in February. $195 includes all fees/taxes. Not the best fare I've ever gotten, but better than what I've been seeing lately.

I've never flown AA before.....how are they in general??

Thanks for any information!!

Sammy

I have only flown them once with stopovers in Dallas, and I hated them (they lost our luggage on the outgoing flight, had plane trouble with the incoming flight, finally decided to get another plane to us and made us miss our connections, put up us in a hotel for the night, but refused to allow us to get our luggage, didn't give us food vouchers, made us go through an incredibly long line to re-check in after we were bumped), BUT, I know lots of people who have flown them and are happy with them.

Based upon their one performance with us, and the lack of customer service that we received--I will not fly them again unless they are SUBSTANTIALLY cheaper than the alternatives

You didn't say when exactly you are going. I would check out Jet Blue.

For example leaving on 2-12 and returning on 2-19 you can get 79.00 each way.

They are great to fly on.

I've flown them to the Caribeen and Paris. No problems.
I'm using them for our April trip from Boston to MCO.

I fly on American once a year to go to a conference. I have never flown on any other airline, so I don't have a basis for comparison, but I have never had a problem.

I fly only on direct flights - no stopovers or changing planes.

I live in Dallas, and this is their base so they are popular around here.

I am a pretty basic girl - I get on the plane, I sit down, when the plane lands I get off. I don't think I have ever made any sort of special request.

We are flying on American to WDW in January. I booked out flights and got our e-mail confirmatiosn without any trouble. My DS and I are flying with free tickets so we only had to pay for my husband - round trip $210.

We like AA and have never had any problems.

You are getting all of the criteria we care about: direct non-stop, under $200 per person, and an airline that hasn't recently filed for bankruptcy.

Enjoy!:earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

If you're going Feb. school vacation..then that $200.00 is a good price! Grab it now! If not, check out Jet Blue too!

We used AA out of Logan on my trip in Oct. of 03' ..we got a spectacular deal....the deal of a lifetime..I guess we were on the computer at the right time....ready for this $115.00 round trip! Both ways...non-stops! But the downfall to American out of Boston for non-stops, there are only 2 per day...unless you want a stopover or a change of planes..they have more...

Lots of leg room on AA aircraft too!

We've used them several times for domestic and international flights. No problems. We're using them again in December for our Disney trip.

Thanks for the replies everyone! Unfortunately, we needed 8 seats on the plane, and there weren't enough available. I'll just keep looking!

Thanks!
Sammy

There are very few airlines that will get a 100% GREAT rating on a question like this!

However, if you need 8 seats in Feb you may need to consider booking soon. Especially if you are flying over the infamous winter break periods. If you have several adults you might do better splitting up onto two different flights.

(By the way, rumor is that AA is quietly doing away with the More Room Through Coach so there may not be much more leg room on your next flight!)
