I just got off the phone making my reservations (exactly 180 days out) and can not get a table at LeCellier for a table of 6 during our stay. I need some additional suggestions. Let me start off by saying we are pretty basic eaters. Not into too many unusual dishes. I am traveling with my family of 4 (kids ages 4 and 7) and parents who have never been before. My mother is extremely picky.

My reservations so far include:
Boma B-fast (we love Boma)
Boma dinner
Coral Reef
Mama Melrose's (Fantasmic package)

The CM suggested Ohana's which I am concerned about only because of the mixed reviews I have heard. What do you think? Or anybody eaten at Olivia's, my parents are staying at OKW? What about Teppan Edo?

Any suggestions would be fabulous! Thanks so much! :)

Hello! WE are traveling in Nov. with a party of 6 as well. We happen to have a ressie for Le Cellier though. I've also made ressies at O Hana . I'm alittle worried as well with all the mixed reviews. But my DH reassures me that this is DISNEY, how bad can it be? So, I'm going with the O Hana. We also have our kids (9 & 10) and my parents, also who have never been (70's). We too have a ADR at Coral Reef. Also Hollywood & Vine, Hoop De Doo, Tusker House, Yak & Yeti, Liberty Tree tavern, Plaza Rest. and a few others. We ended up getting an ADR for 6 at all these places.

Try the Garden Grill if your looking for a place in epcot. The food is decent, the character interaction is great and the atmosphere, well, it's good with the revolving floor and scenerey. Not too childish, but still for the kids as well.

Hope you get the help you're looking for...

IF you are looking for something in Epcot, I vote for Teppan in Japan or Chefs de France in France.

Italy, Mexico and CHina were all mediocre and way over priced for food that I can get at home! :(
Even for picky eaters, the menus in Japan and France have a good variety.
Teppan is like Benihana....if the picky ones like fried or white rice, grilled chicken or shrimp and some veggies, they will be happy (oh, and the bar specialty drinks pack a punch--some of the most potent drinks served at disney-;)
Chefs de France is delicious and --for French food-- a decent value.
Again, they have adventurous food as well as an ordinary selection or two.

I highly suggest you check out the menus on line and show your selective diner the choices.

we are O'hana fans despite the negative reviews, we have only ever had positives and usually dine there every other year....we love the grilled meat!

p.s.....never been to garden grill but have heard wonderful things!

Have fun :)

I have eaten at the garden grill in Sept. 07 and the whole family loved it! The characters were great and spent plenty of time at the table. We have also eaten at Moracco and the meal was awesome! Also my hubby and brother didn't mind the belly dancer entertainment :rotfl2: which was tastefuly done. It really was very entertaining.

You don't say if you want it at a particular park or resort or what. How about Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom? We've only done breakfast and absolutey love it. I've read decent reviews for lunch and dinner. Or how about Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club for either character breakfast or buffet dinner (no characters at dinner). As for Epcot, I would suggest Biergarten--the food is good, enough variety and great entertainment.

Did you try making a reservation at Le Cellier for a late lunch? We are exactly 180 days out also (I guess we'll be there at the same time!) and I made an ADR today for Le Cellier at 2:30 for Tuesday 12/16 - of course it was a party of 4. If you're still unable, try going for a table for 8 - sometimes their table configurations don't accomodate odd size parites well (6 is a little different) - you can always tell them two of your party were unable to make dinner - usually not a problem.

Hmm... You said you're basic eaters, but love Boma. I think you are more adventurous then you know.

I think overall, O'Hana's would be a great place to try. The food isn't off the beaten path, and the characters, if you like Stitch, are great. Your kids will have a blast...isn't that what its all about?
