Ned help w/transfer info

I am a relatively new DVC member (since Feb 2002). I am going HOME in December.....5-13. Staying at the Beach Club. SO excited. We have friends joining us on this trip that we would like to make a DVC reservation for in a studio or 1 bdrm, but we don't have enough points (and I don't want to borrow next year's). Can I "rent/transfer" points from another DVC member....perhaps one of you all.....and then they will be right in my account to handle all the necessary reservation stuff?? My use year is Feb if it matters........

Once I find out how this works, I will post on the rent/trade board....

It would be easiest to just find someone to make the reservation for your guests and you can rent that from them. In this case, you should make sure of availability first, since that early December time frame usually books up quickly and may have little available at this time anyway. You may not want to rent points and then find you are not able to use them.

You may also want to rethink borrowing your own points, unless there is a chance your guests will back out at the last minute.
