Nearest Walmart to Disney World

I've had a look on Walmart's website and have found there's quite a few in the vicinity of Disney. Can anyone tell me which one is the closest/easiest to get to??

We won't have a car and are staying at Pop. I Googled it and found there's a Walmart a few minutes away from Downtown Disney?? Would this be our best option? Get Disney transport to DTD and then a taxi from there.

We don't 100% have to go to Walmart but just considering some options

The one in Lake Buena Vista on the SR535 is probably the nearest.
It's right opposite Prime (?) Outlets

Thanks, Luke! We're planning to go to the Prime Outlets anyway so this could very well be the best option

We went to Walmart last time lol we fell asleep at 4pm and woke up around midnight and was gutted we missed that evening and there was nothing to do so we said lets go on a Walmart trip (like doing midnight Asda trips ) Spent so long in there and spent a few Dollars

LOL I'm like that as well although boyfriend HATES it! LOL Spent quite a good while in the Walmart while in Mexico and boyfriend totally doesn't understand it He's like "Can you not just get what you're looking for?! It's just like Asda!" I'm like "I like to look!". Plus I might stock up on some goodies like Cheetos and Jolly Ranchers, lol.

Isn't Prime Outlets quite far from Disney? I am sure it is the one right at the top (north) of I-Drive(?)

I just looked it up and it's I Drive Which isn't close to Disney really. Maybe Luke's confused with another shopping mall??

I am sure Luke meant Premium Mall, not Prime. Just looking at the fare quotation above, that is pretty much what we paid from DTD to Premium last year. It was $38 return including a 15-20% tip. According to the I-Ride website there is a Publix near to PM - maybe it is a Walmart or there is one there as well. I tried to find this out on the transportation board months back as I thought I could stock up on a few emergency gluten free snacks for DD, but I never got the answer I wanted.

I just checked on my friend google Maps And the Premium Mall is about 3 miles away from the same Walmart which is it closest aswell

It doesn't really matter where you stay. It is cheapest to go from Downtown Disney. I was fortunate enough to speak to a CM a couple of years ago who relied on taxis quite a lot as she didn't always have the use of a car and she said you may as well get to DTD for free to take the shortest route. I took her word for it, but also, looking at the maps, it made sense.

Either the west side or Pleasure Island. We usually stroll across to the entrance just outside Planet Hollywood and there are taxis waiting in the parking lot there.

Oh yes! I remember you posting that - that was when you told me I could walk from LBV. Then I saw on Bing Maps that it was a 2 lane dual motorway. What have I ever done to you Luke?
