I will be staying at BWV the 18 - 23 Dec. and we are planning on taking the kids pictures on the first day there and getting them developed and mailing out the Christmas cards from WDW. Any idea where the nearest Walgreens, CVS, or some place that we can take our memory card to print out digital pictures to go in the Christmas cards? If you have a place in mind and can give me directions - I'd really appreciate it!

TIA

get on Buena Vista Drive (the road in front of BWV) - then a couple of blocks down get on 536 - go past the Marriott WC - BIG building - the next light after MWC - turn left to 535 - there is a Walgreen on the left side before you get to I4.

Now I would go to the new Walmart - cheaper.

go like you are going to the AK - then get in the left lane (AKL) - then you turn before you get to AKL at the traffic light - to your left.(Sherberth RD)

right before this roads gets on US 192 - you are turning on to Black Lake Road - when this gets to US 192 - turn right - stay in the right lane - you are going to the end of US 192 on US 27 North - turn right.

a couple of blocks further north is a traffic light - there is gasoline station in front - there is a BIG Super Walmart here.

Is the Super Walmart you are talking about better than the one on 192 ??

Closest Walgreens I can remember is just down on the left from the crossroads centre at the end of hotel plaza BLVD. Get to the lifghts and turn left it is just up the road about 3 minutes on the left hand side.

And if you have a laptop/internet access, you can probably upload the pictures directly to Walmart...where they will be ready and waiting for you.

I just did this last week...very convenient. 24 Cents per print for 1 hr processing. 19 cents per print for 2 day processing.

Check the website to make sure that this location participates in this program...it's new.

"YES - it is brand new and even bigger.....super walmart!"

Thanks will keep it in mind for future trips.

I'm pretty sure you can upload to walgreens.com too. If so, that'd be your quickest route.

Thanks for the replies! We're not planning on taking the laptop - so we'll just have to do it the old-fashioned way of driving to the store to have our pictures in a few minutes! ;)

Lol...I understand. :D However, I have never walked into a drugstore, uploaded my pictures and had the prints in a few minutes. Maybe it's just that they are busy in my area (major city like Orlando)...but there is always a backlog (to the point where I come back later to pick them up). Hopefully you will have a better experience than I have...just be prepared for a wait.
