Hi All

I've been active on the cruise meet htread for our January Caribbean cruise - not been here much.

Looks like a pretty good sized group of DISsers for this cruise.

I was wondering - what is the cruise terminal DCL is sailing out of in NY?

There are 3 terminals. I sailed out of Pier 88 in the inaugural sailing May 25th but its anyone's guess. Don't worry. The Piers are all connected and you will see the ship docked and will not miss it.

Anyone going who has two daughters ages 11 and 7? We cruised on the Magic this past June to the Bahamas, and met a family on the disboards beforehand with two DD's. They had a terrific time on board, so I am trying to do it once again! Spent lots of time in the clubs together, saw shows together and, of course, swam together as well.

Not booked yet, as DH may think I am insane for wanting to hop on another boat 2.5 months after we got off one but I may surprise him for his bday later this month.


Anyway, anyone who has DD's and would maybe like to start an email buddy thing, PM me or reply here. Thanks!!

Just me and DH.....can't take the kiddos out of school, as we have a 10 night trip in October and taking them out 6 days then! Total impromptu trip....LOVE IT!!!! Is there a facebook group for this cruise? Sorry, we just booked at 9:00pm tonight....craziness!

Really glad to hear that we get a pirate deck party, as DD, DH and I all have pirate outfits!

We're paid in full now and my DH is now going as well as the rest of the 10 members in my family! We'll be quite a big bunch now!

This cruise has taken up quite a chunk of my life. Currently I'm seamstressing a Rapunzel dress for DD to wear. I'm hoping to have a princess dress for each day there, along with disney casual clothing. I'm definitely getting crafty for this cruise!

We do not wear jeans on cruise casual; DH will wear khakis and I dress pants and a nice shirt. Semi-formal, with or without coat for DH and a dress for me. I think the whole jeans debate has been on other threads and been quite heated at times and beaten to death...LOL. So with that said, I will probably bring one of my black dresses and a couple black dress pants with nice shirts and call it good. I try to bring 1 pair of sandal type heels that I can wear every night as to not take up too much room in the suitcases. However, this trip, we will not be flying, so who knows!!!

Just got off the Magic this morning from a 2 night cruise to nowhere. We had such a blast - but it was over with so quickly! Now we're looking forward to this cruise even more!
