Navigating the My Disney Experience (MDE) Web Site and App

Thanks. Yes, that works but I'm still having problems. It seems as if I have two separate accounts. One under my User Name and one under my email address. I'll have to figure out why.

Disney tech support themselves couldn't answer that for me when I asked :(
 
I have been trying to make a payment on Disney.com under the MyExperience and keep getting the message "Remaining Balance: We're sorry. Detail payment information is not available at this time. Please try again later."
Am I doing something wrong or is there something else I can try??

I called 407-wdw-magic and used the automated phone system to make a payment. It worked just fine.
 
I figured My Disney Experience is having issues reconciling reservation information, but today I decided to call to confirm.

My resort reservation email and invoice from the Walt Disney Travel Company are correct with my package, dates, and guests.

But when signing into My Disney Experience, the web site doesn't have the guests listed correctly. For mine, it lists myself once, and then my wife twice, once as a adult and once a child. My child's name is not listed as the child guest.

I called WDW and the CM acknowledged the new site is having issues with the guest listing. She used her internal system to confirm all the reservation details, which were still correct.

Had the exact same issue. Confirmed that all the names were correct with WDW and was told it is a transfer problem from the res system to the new website. The IT CM was great and even said the problem isn't really being addressed because of the updates to Fastpass that will be happening soon!

Log out of your account, click on the link at the bottom of the page for custom maps. When you get to that page you can click on the old link for your reservations and go through the old steps to pay your balance. This worked for me a couple of days ago.! Good luck!

Are there more character avatar choices now? Or does the list just look longer with the layout in a portable device? :-)

OMG!!! We are leaving in 3 hours and I tried to get on my Iphone app for My Experience.............
The stupid thing won't even let me sign on!!!!!!!!!!!

This app is the biggest waste of time....... JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyone have any idea why it keeps telling me incorrect password???
ps............ I know I have the correct one.... same one I use for all my Disney stuff and it works fine everywhere else!

Update............. I have no idea why..... but now it finally let me sign on!
The online site is fine..... but the iphone app really is junk! :badpc::badpc:
 
Being a software developer myself I can tell you the MyDisneyExperience is the worst app I have ever dealt with. It works only periodically. I ahven't been able to log in a weeks. I can access the website on my computer just fine. I can the aspects of the app that dont require logon just fine. But logon is impossible. If I (deliberately) type in the wrong password it tells me I have an invalid password (great!), if I put i the correct password (as confirmed on my computer) it gives that ubiquitous "Data Supply has been interrupted" message. If I attempt to change the password, it doesn't recognize my security answers (which I know are correct!). My personal suspicion is that the mainframes running the database can't handle the load. I am going to try the app late tonight when most folks should be off the system.
 
I'm having some strange problems with the app. It's just minor things but still a nuisance. I can't change my avatar :( I do change it but it always resets back to the default. Also I can't put my address in there, it keeps telling me that my address is invalid. Bizarre!! Anyone else having similar problems? I only started using it today so I haven't done much with it yet. I was able to link my dining reservations and add my husband and kiddies to my family and friends though :)

I had this problem months ago. I think I had to change it on the website before it ever stuck around on the app.

Yes, I had the same problem. Once I changed it on the website, I didn't have any issue.

Perhaps this has been discussed to death, but I logged in to the website tonight to check for (don't laugh) a BOG ADR on the (very) off chance it might be available.

What I saw, though, was a button to choose a FastPass+ for BOG - I presume for the QS lunch. I'm not within the prescribed window, though, so I couldn't actually do it, but I've never seen that option before.

ETA: When I reloaded the page, the option was gone. Go figure?

I've seen sporadic reports of things like that pop up briefly on the website and then go away. It's clear they are still tinkering with things.
 
Sounds like its getting close, they maybe allowing some people to see it and use it who knows.
 
How do u send a dinner invite to a friend so it's on their app with the time and place? They r linked to me already.
