Navigating the My Disney Experience (MDE) Web Site and App

I apologize if this has been asked and answered already. Perhaps someone can direct me to the correct post number to check...

What exactly is the part for adding tickets? Is it to purchase tickets through them and en they show up on the app or website?

I bought our tickets through UT, and would like to get them on here with all our other info, but not sure how to do that. Thanks!

The method doesn't exist yet, but you are supposed to be able to enter the ticket barcodes into the website/app when available.

No need now since MM+/FP+ isn't available yet.

I talked to some cast members at the Magic Kingdom yesterday that were handing out Fast Passes to watch the parade. Unfortunately, once I realized what they were doing, they had handed out all of them. They did tell me that this was the last trail for the Magic Plus bands. They said to keep an eye on the website in the next few weeks. They also said that there would be a choice of four fast passes per park, where I had previously heard only three.

Keep in mind, they will be rolling it out in stages. Some resort guests first, then more, then throw in AP holders, then non-resort guests, etc.

Honestly, I still don't think they are close to being ready for it.

Ahh im staying at Saratoga springs so hopefully it will be there and if not, well it will still be a blast

Agree completely. I think they'll roll it out one park/resort area at a time. The MDE app (Android version, at least) combined with the in-park WIFI problems Disney is having makes me think this stuff a still a long way from being ready for prime time.

At this point, I hope they wait at least until *after* my trip early next month. Not something in which I'm very eager to be an early adopter.

We have resort reservations and some ADR's. We are going down with some friends who have a separate resort reservation and other ADR's. We are "linked" on the friends and family page of MDE, but I can't see any of their reservations.

Am I missing something?

It will depend on what your friends allow you to see from their profile. They can allow you to see only shared activities or all activities. If they all you to see all activities, you will need to select their name on the 'My Reservations' page to see their reservations (by default it says 'My Family').

OK - thanks. I'll give that a try. If I don't see anything, I'll ask them to check their settings to see if I'm "allowed" to see their items.

Only one of my dining reservation show on MDE App. When trying to link I'm warned that reservation has already been linked to primary guests account. I am the primary guest.????

I get that because my wife made the reservation using her account online. Even though she's in my profile and we're supposed to be shared.

I tried for the first time in a long time to sign in to the app...It told me invalid u/n and p/w...

I just got out of viewing my stuff on the site.

I then go to the site again to try and I get the same error.

I tried to recover p/w but it says it doesn't have my email on file.

What happened? Should I call?

Phew! I literally just got out of the site doing on-line check it...Then tried the app and I didn't exists, tried the site again, didn't exists there either. It changed so fast I got worried as I haven't had any problems with the site at all until now.

Yep same here. The app is giving weird error messages and saying it can't find my account. Sigh.

As of 9:27PM CDT, I could access the regular MDE website. My phone is dead, so I can't vouch for the Android MDE app at the moment, but I bet there's a decent chance its up again.

The problem that I am having is that when logging into the MDE website I am asked for Member Name or email address. If I log in under my member name all my reservations show up. If I log in under my email address only some reservations show up. When using the MDE App on my iPhone and when logging in I am only asked to login with an email address and not by member name so I can't get all of my reservations on the App. Any Ideas?

Though it doesn't state it, you can log into the app using a member name in the email field. I had to figure that our to be able to see my reservations

Thanks. Yes, that works but I'm still having problems. It seems as if I have two separate accounts. One under my User Name and one under my email address. I'll have to figure out why.
