"Naughty" kids names!

I have worked in a school for 27 yrs and it is weird how certain names in childred evoke naughtiness.

Boys: Jason, Conor, Brandon

Girls: Valerie

Paris
Nicole
Lindsay
Brittany

Oops...wrong "naughty" topic!

Donna! (my second grade nemisis)
Zach(a pita in my daughter's class)

But there were tons of names that I had to take off the list of names for my children because I had a bad association with it(not just naughty kids)

Lucas
Luke (ate my crayons in kindergarten)
Lisa
Lowell

They're all L names.

As a side note, if I ever had a child, I'd have a hard time picking a name- because as a teacher, I associate a few names with a few "interesting" characters. I used to love one name, until I had a student who was an absolute terror with that name.

Wow all 3 of my children's names are on these lists! I assure you my Kelly, Erin and Ryan are not "naughty".
I had a Bryan one year in class and I would never use that name. I also went to school with a Cynthia who was a real female dog, and had issues with a girl named Mary Beth.
It's funny how these work. I've never had a bad Ryan in any class. But one of my girls names was Shannon, and my BIL said that was a "slut" name", and after that I couldn't bring myself to consider it! But I knew a really nice Shannon in HS.
Robin M.

Justin - the class clown

Jonathon - the class clown and prankster One of those you couldn't hate, because he was too damn funny!

Wendy - I would have beat the living crap out of her if she hadn't of ran into her aunts office at school, before I got to her sorry butt!

My son's arch nemesis in first grade was named "Hope". I came home to the name "Hope" written in chalk on the driveway with a big circle around it and a line through it.

Made him look really depressed but he was just mad that she gave him lice.

I was pretty mad too!

Jackie, ugh! When I was in elementary school, there was a little girl named Jackie who was always mean to me and my twin sister. Then we changed schools in grade 4 thinking we'd make great new friends. Boy was I wrong! And not only did this new school have one Jackie, but two and both made my life a living hell! But I'm happy to say I've met Jackie's in recent times who have been very sweet people. Atleast the trend did not continue :)

I don't like the name Damien either, it gives me the creeps!

School wise let's see, Scott and Matt were elementary bullies but there are two Matt's at DS's school that I love so that name is growing on me now.

Girl wise it was Jackie (ROTFLOL) I slapped her once after she had bullied me to no end and ran straight to the teacher! To this day I feel good for slapping her (sad how we remember that stuff huh.)

Let's see in DS's school I honestly can not think of ONE person who is a bully. They are so friggin close. The 9th, 10th and 11th graders all went on a field trip together yesterday and they all had a blast. I just asked DS who the bully was at his school and he said we don't have one.

Michael
Kevin

Those two stand out...all others pale in comparison!!

The meanest girl in my middle school was named Evelyn. She made fun of me in chorus in 7th grade in front of everyone because my chest hadn't filled out! (Still hasn't!!! :rotfl:;) )

And there was a snarky girl in high school named Angie who hated me for some reason.

So Angie and Evelyn are my "naughty" names - I'm sure there are many nice Disers with those names though!

When I was a Girl Scout troop leader, there was a little girl named Nicole who was just TERRIBLE. Guess who is one of dd's best friends now that they're 16? :rotfl2: (She's much nicer now.)

Names that will forever be ruined for me are:

Henry
Dean
Patrick
Travis
Lee
Teresa
Fred/Freddy
Robert- There are 2 of them in my life and they're both really weird.

Adam- It's double-edged. I had a very good friend with that name but there was an Adam in my neighborhood that terrorized me and my brother.

Frank- I can still hear my Peer Counseling teacher scream his name. He liked to annoy me and my friends in 7th grade study hall.

Julia- As close as it is to my own name you'd think I'd like it. The rich Julia in my elementary school and her posse were never mean, but they were snobby. The one thing I hated most was that they called me Julia no matter how many times I corrected them. Even as a small child I felt like they took my identity from me every time they called me that.
