Just reserved Full Size car on-line through National for 9/25, I was not required to leave a CC #...is this normal? Has anyone had a problem with National and getting the car you reserved? I am very nervous about this, concern that if they are out of the car I reserved, they can say Oh well since no CC on ressie. This was the best rate I found for a Full size and need to stay with rental spots in MCO have VERY young DS and DD don't want to mess with shuttles to go off site. ANy Opinions????

Thank You!!!

You don't need a credit card to make ressie. Just make sure you have it when you get there. And if you have to cancel at least do it 24-48 hrs before or sooner.:D

I would however printout your confirmation that you did receive at the end of your booking as well as your confirmation e-mail. Take them with you to the check out counter in case there is a price increase. Your conf. should be enough proof of your rate. Are you a Disney Club member? If you are you can combine 2 codes to maybe get an even better rate. Put ( NHOL ) in for rate code and (5901600) for contract #. If it's a better rate and you're not a DC member, it might pay to join. If you are a member you could reserve at the new rate and cancel the old one.

Credit card #s are not required for ANY rental car agency when reserving a car. Have you tried pricing all of the major companies that are onsite at MCO: Avis, Budget, Dollar and National? Over the years, I've used all of these companies and have never had a terrible experience with any of them. For our last three trips, I have always found Dollar prices to be the lowest. You can find discount codes at mousesavers.com for all of them (click on ground transportation).

We just booked with National last week on line and had to put in all the credit card info in. I would printed off my confirmation sheet and also give them a call to confim the reservation.Could have been a glitch in the computer . Last week I know their computer was down for a while.I tryed to confim reservations and get some info but I couldn't get on via internet so I called and the told me they were having problems and their computers were down that I would need to call back later.
