Oh how I love to be in the number.....
WHEN THE SAINTS GO MARCHING IN!!

It looks like you're February 7th evening plans will involve the Super Bowl!

I was just flipping through the channels and I see National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is on. It made me think of you. :goodvibes

Kona - Dinner (we've done this the last 2 trips & love it!) - this is one of our favorites, too. it's a must-do for us pretty much every trip.

Tusker House - Donald's Safari Breakfast. It is our first time doing the safari breakfast. Usually we do Crystal Palace but it is closed for refurbishment this trip. Not really complaining. It is forcing us outside of our box which is good! Our ressie time is 8am which is before the park opens. - you will LOVE this! we did it last december and it was the best meal of our trip. the food was absolutely wonderful and all the characters were great except for goofy, who snubbed us. but i think we just had a jerky goofy that day.

Captain's Grill - Dinner This is a new one for us. Believe it or not, out of our many trips we have never treked over to check out the Beach Club or Yacht club or the Boardwalk! We will have dinner here, then look around and head over to the Boardwalk. - i've never eaten here but i just wanted to say that you'll love the boardwalk at night. it's so pretty!

Teppan Edo
- Dinner at the Hibachi in Japan! We LOVE the hibachi here at one of our Japanese restaurants. We actually eat there A LOT! So I can't believe we haven't ever tried the one at Disney. Well now we will!! - we had such a good time here last year. the food was yummy and the atmosphere was great. stay away from the green tea martini - it tasted like cough syrup. also, while the hibachi is good, i know that the local hibachi place here is better and i've heard others say the same. i think maybe teppan edo just isn't as authentic as the local places. it's still good though!

O'hana - Dinner This is a new one for us too! Last trip while eating at Kona, we saw the line to O'hana around the corner. This place gets good reviews. We can't wait to give it a try. - i did this in 2007 and i think i'm the only disser alive that didn't enjoy it! the meat was really dry but i'm thinking i was there on an off night because it always gets good reviews. go into it knowing it will be loud and chaotic. i don't enjoy that type of atmosphere so i think that's why i didn't like it so much.

Last but certainly not least.....

Hoop Dee Doo Revue!! Dinner Show. I got us a Category 1 seating. We did Cat. 1 last trip and it was FABULOUS!! We were front and center. This is a dinner show that we never get tired of. It is SO FUNNY and you are put right in the middle of it all. It's an all you can eat style meal that they bring to your table. Fried chicken & BBQ ribs, beans, cornbread to die for, salad, corn, and you also get all you can drink!! That is soda's but also all you can drink beer, wine, & sangria! DS loves it and thinks it's hilarious. He gets into it every time. Clapping and dancing. It's great. If you've never done it, you really need to. You will not be disappointed. :thumbsup2 - we did this last year for the first time and LOVED it, to my surprise. i was thinking it would be silly but it was so much fun!

I'll be sure to skip the martini in teppan edo! I'll have to prepare dh for the craziness of ohana before we get there.

We love hoop dee doo! I can't wait to bring my mom if she comes with us in June!

I think they'll take the Cardinals.

My Saints are now #1 in the power rankings after their win against the Patriots! We are closely followed by the Colts in #2. :woohoo:

I know the Colts are undefeated, but I woulda thought Minnesota would've been #2.

I was just asking Kyle which restaurant he liked the best at Diney and it was Tepan Edo !! He calle it the one where they cook at the table though!!!He said he wants to eat there everytime he goes !!!

I can't wait to eat there again. I don't think I've eaten there since 1999 or maybe 1997!!!!! And it was called Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki back then.

I can't believe you haven't made it over to my NEW PTR....:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

I dunno. They lost against the Steelers. I don't always understand their "power rankings".

Hey what's the weather like where you're at. reading about all the weather in TX and the Southeast......

This little southern girl is f-f-freezing her booty off!!! :cold: It's 46 right now but it has been raining for 3 days straight. Today it finally stopped but it was that misty rain all morning. The weather guy said POSSIBLE snow by Friday. The weather girl said a "winter mix" which is icy rain that looks like snow when it falls but it's also wet and it melts when it touches the ground. If we actually get a collection of white stuff on the ground I will be completely AMAZED! That will make 2 years in a row and THAT is completely unheard of down here.

i know your national lampoon's reference is to the original "vacation" a la wally world, but "christmas vacation" is on AMC right now! :thumbsup2 (at least in the atlanta area it is.) i have it on DVD but for some reason when it's on TV i just feel the need to watch it every time!

Snow in LA? Wow!

I've never seen it snow here, although it has snowed in parts of Los Angeles near the foothills....

When it snowed last year around this time we were all shocked! The last time it snowed here was around 1985. Before that.....WHO KNOWS! I think maybe one time in the late 70's when I was a kid.

Oh Punkin!! I forgot to tell you that I'm going to see New Moon again tomorrow while DS is in school. I haven't been able to get back to see it again since opening day. So excited!! :yay:
