National Car Rentals on Disney Site

Has anyone rented through National...picking up at Orlando airport and needing for just a day or two to run to the grocery store....then returning to the Disney Car Care Center?

How does this work? Is it convenient? Do you need to drive over to the car center and then will they drop you back to either your resort (staying at Pop Century) or at a park...or will they get it from your resort?

Or are there other ideas how to get to the grocery store to get some snacks, breakfast foods to have in your room without renting a car??

Twice I have done this. I am also renting for the first day and last day this time down. Very easy!! You can also drop or rent at the Swan.
You have to drive it there to rent or drop off.

Actually, the National desk is at the Dolphin, not the Swan. Of course the two hotels are adjacent, so no big deal, but I would hate to drive up to the Swan and be looking around the lobby for the car rental desk. It's located in the Guest Services section at the Dolphin. This is across the lobby from the front desk. It is quite convenient to drop off a car after driving from MCO. I'll be dropping off a car on Sunday morning after we arrive on a Saturday, then picking up a car later in the week prior to our departure for a short stay at the Vero Beach resort.

Is National still on Disney property? I was told that Alamo is now the official car of Disney World and they show offices at the Dolphin and Disney Car Center.........I would double check that before you leave

Yes, it is still on disney property. Alamo and National are sister companies. They are, again, at the Dolphin and the car care center.

Do you know the hours for the CCC vs. the Desk at the Dolphin?

It is right outside the exit gates to MK.

There is also a desk at the Dolphin.
