Two thousand years ago, God appeared in a most unexpected way to bring peace, love, and new life to our world. Now, when you need him most, may that same Lord appear in unexpected ways in your life, bringing you the peace that passes understanding, hope in the new life Nate has with him, and the love that will hold you all close for eternity. I am so very sorry to hear of Nate's death; know that your family will continue to be in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. Nate truly was a special little man who taught many of us a great lesson. It's not the shape or size of the person, but what's in his heart and spirit that can touch so many of us deeply. I pray that as he walks through the pearly gates, he is greeted with open arms and a "Job well done, Nathan". May God bless and keep you all.

I did not know all about Nate. I had only seen "references" to him as Verandah boy and a Wishing Well link in honor of him before- but never really knew about him. I assumed it meant he was ill....

However, I earlier read the thread "in memory of nate" and followed the link to read about his cruise and see the pictures. Now I understand... and then I read this thread to find out he'd just passed away today.

I don't know you- and didn't know Nathan... but I want you to know that I feel that I do in some small way through the detailed cruise report on that website and seeing your family pictures. It has really saddened my heart to hear he has passed away...

Your entire family is in my thoughts and prayers. My sincerest condolences to you and your family. {{hugs}}
