Nassau shore excursions

Good afternoon,

My family and I are looking over the shore excursions offered for the Nassau stop and would like some help in choosing between two.

What can you tell us about the "Catamaran Sail & Reef Snorkeling" vs. "Caribbean Queen Snorkel Tour"? Can anyone tell us which has the better (most marine life to see) tour?

And while we're on the subject of excursions, can anyone that has taken the "Walking & Kayak Nature Adventure" tour on CC tell us what you thought of it.

My daughter and I did the Catamaran Sail and Reef Snorkeling in Nassau in April of 2003. She was 11 at the time and a very good swimmer, which I would recommend as a requirement for anyone taking this tour. It's an off-shore reef so the Catamaran drops anchor out there and everyone gets off and swims over the reef for an hour. The variety of fish we saw was pretty good. Not as good as the snorkeling in Grand Cayman, but very enjoyable and the ride out through the harbour to the reef is very pleasant. Once you've taken a tour on Red Sail Sports (Grand Cayman), which we did, you'll compare every other tour to them. Unfortunately, they only operate on Grand Cayman and a few other islands, not the Bahamas. I don't know anything about the other tours you mentioned, but I am looking for info. about the Stingray snorkeling tour in Nassau. Anybody???

I"ve also done the Catarman and reef snorkle and highly recommend it! The fish come right up to you. I have tried to snorkle in the past and this was the first place that I snorkled successfully so it's good for beginners!
