Nassau Excursion question

My question is specifically about Blackbeard's Pirate Ship Adventure. Do they allow walk ups and pay there if there's room? Or does it have to be pre-booked?

I ask because we're trying to book it for 4, but it's showing as not available. When i try to book for 2 it lets me book. So I'm trying to figure out what my chances might be if i book the 2, then hope the other 2 can walk up and pay for their tickets.
I realize I'd be taking a risk. But does it seem like it could possibly work?

I don't know specifically about that excursion, but, typically, excursion companies that supply excursions for ships have a contract that doesn't allow private purchases of the same excursion.

We've done this excursion. It was great. But I'm sure there must be some kind of 'cap' on how many people that they are allowed to have onboard at any one time. I can't say I saw anyone paying or 'walk-ups", but keep looking on the DCL site as people change their minds constantly. I hope it works out for you.
