Darn, I forgot that was on this morning. I was watching Live with Regis and Kelly - oh well. I'm sure I'll have lots of opportunities to read and hear about it between now and the start of racing season. From what I read it will definitely make the last 10 races crucial to those in the top 10 - no more "comfortable" points lead for the leader now you are only 5 points ahead - one DNF and you could be out of contention. It really doesn't seem fair to me but I do know that I'll still watch![]()

I think the new rules/points system is going to make for an interesting finish to the season. I can hear DH bickering now when Jeff Gordon isn't in the position he thinks he should be. (that would be #1)![]()

I agree ToriLammy, it doesn't seem fair that someone who could be in the lead all season could lose in the end if they catch some bad luck. I know I will still be watching though (and perhaps cursing at the tv). I saw some of the drivers talking about the points system on ESPN and they had some mixed feelings on it. Dale Jr. said that they should think about things more while Mikey Waltrip thought it was great. Guess we'll all just have to wait and see.
Hopefully we'll see that 2004 paint job in victory lane more than 2 times this year.....he needs a strong run to make it into the final cut ..... AndyOriginally posted by iNTeNSeBLue98
