Can anyone tell me where the Narnia set is? The WDW web site says it is on Mickey Ave, but then their map shows it being somewhere near Streets of America.

I think it's on Mickey Ave. We hit it just after the character greeting trailers where we saw JoJo and Goliath...

I was just thinking of posting a question about Narnia :flower: . Does anybody know if this is a permanent attraction, or if not how long it will be around?

It's temporary. There's not much to it ... You enter thru a winter forest, and stand in front of a large screen. The white witch comes out and says a few words. The rest of the attraction is spent watching a long trailer from the movie.

We just returned yesterday. I was REALLY looking forward to the Narnia exhibit and was disappointed. We were probably the 2nd group of the day and had to wait less than 5 minutes to get in. You walk through big "wardrobe" doors (my lame description sounds cooler than it actually is) into a winter scene room. There were only about 12 people in my group so we were allowed to sit on the white "snow" astroturf floor to watch the movie trailer. There was a short interactive scene with a White Witch robot. After the movie scenes (which were good, but not worth a long line if you've already seen the movie...) they ushered us into a tiny hallway with a few movie props in glass cases. Like I said before, there were only about 12 people in my group and we were crowded in that hallway. It totally reminded me of walking through the trophy cases at my old high school. The props I can think of were Lucy's dress, a few "frozen" statues, the witch's sleigh, the witch's wand and possibly 3 other things.

This exhibit is only worth seeing if you have little to no wait and you will probably still be disappointed with how minor it is.

I'd tend to agree with the prior poster with the caveat. I think your willingness to wait may be impacted by your interest in the book and/or movie. We had a moderate wait and enjoyed the exhibit, brief as it was. Just before our trip we had finished reading the book with our two older children.

Here's a pic of DD6 in front of the doors. The group I was in had an impromptu let's let everyone get a good pic of his/her child in front of the big doors. :cool1: Click for larger version.

They had the book as an assignment in his 4th grade class, and saw the movie in the theaters as well as the British version. I saw the movie as well, and thought it was beautifully made :goodvibes .
Based on the description, we will probably skip it unless we find outselves right in front of it with no line. We've already seen the movie, never been one for movie props. And my DS9 was not interested when I told him what was in it.
