narcosees attire

Here's the dress code for Disney Signatures such as Narcoosees--

“Guests are asked to adhere to the minimum dress code requirements at this Signature Dining experience. Dressier attire is also welcome. Please explore the minimum dress code requirements: Men must wear khakis, slacks or dress shorts and collared shirts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition. Sport coats are optional. Women must wear Capri pants, skirts, dresses or dress shorts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition. Not permitted are tank tops, flip-flops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, hats for gentlemen, cut-offs, torn clothing and t-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics.”

Last time we dined there, you had everything from park attire to dressed up and everything in between.
Will you be turned away if you don't follow their dress code? Probably not, unless the clothing fits in their not permitted category.

Last time my family went, DH and DS12 wore polos and khaki shorts, DD10 and I wore cotton sun dresses (think Lilly Pulitzer type). We will go into the parks in the evenings dressed like that.

Casual is fine, as long as you are neat. We've eaten there several times. I usually wear a knit dress and DH wears khaki shorts and a Hawaiian shirt.

Honestly I don't remember seeing a lot of t-shirts in there- but I also didn't look too closely. We like to dress-up a little for this meal.

about 15 years ago or even a bit more when they instituted the dress code for some of the signature restaurants like cali grill, narcoossees, shulas, etc they never really enforced it; i mean if someone comes in with a halter top or a muscle tee shirt they might say something; we eat at all those places and what i do is make sure i have time to get back to the hotel, shower, and put on a pair of chinos and usually a 'john lasseter' shirt which is fine for their codes; but you will be fine in any case;

I was there during thanksgiving week and we are at Cali Grill. 85% of people were in park attire and only my husband, myself and a few other people at 8pm were dressed up. That being said, I usually wear dresses and husband wears polo or button down and non-jeans. I find overall the guests at Grand Floridian dress nicer. But as others says, look neat, you will be fine.

DH has worn nicer shorts, and polo or casual button up short sleeve.. I have worn a long or short beachy style dresses with some nicer sandals, as well dressy black shorts, with a nice shirt and nice sandals...

When we have dinner here, we tend to savor it, and slow down and enjoy it... we have watched the fireworks from the deck, or taken the monorail down to the Poly and watched fireworks from the beach.. This is a great time to check out the resorts...

I was not impressed the one and only time I was there. It was out 25th anniversary and the table near us had ratty t-shirts on and their kids were standing and jumping on the chairs. We asked for a window table to se could watch the fireworks...and of course someone stood in front. I went out to see them... hubby just stayed back at the table. It was not the way i had planned to spend our evening. So as far as I could see anything goes

I wear my nicest shorts and a polo shirt, which to me is the WDW equivalent of putting on full Jack-Dawson-on-the-Titanic formalwear.

No one goes to a Disney restaurant other than Victoria and Albert and expects the French Laundry. It is a theme park.
The signature restaurants in theme parks don't have dress codes. The signature restaurants at the resorts do.

If you want to show up at a restaurant that says "please wear a collared shirt" in a Grumpy hoodie, you're free to do so, and I'm free to have my opinions about it.

True, up to a point.

However, when Disney sets out how Signatures prefer diners to dress, I agree that it's disrespectful to flout those guidelines with park-going clothes.

Makes me wonder if people wearing non-dress code clothing came directly from the parks, hot and sweaty. EEEWW!

I don't care that "It's Disney!", which seems to be the common excuse for unacceptable behavior in Signature restaurants. I don't think kids unable or unaccustomed to behaving appropriately throughout the meal should be brought to Signatures. There are plenty of other places where kids-being-kids is expected and welcomed. Take kids there until they're mature enough to behave suitably.

As long as you don’t stink I don’t care what you wear to be honest. To me the signatures tend to be the destination, not a stop on the way to or from parks. But that’s me. You do you and have a great time!
