We won't be returning to Narcoosee's anytime soon. At least not with a big group like our anniversary dinner on the 4th. I can see that other guests enjoying their dinners w/o problems. It's just us.

We like Narcoossee's. The view was as good as the food. The seafood is better than the chicken. I would eat here again no problem. Oh, and it wasn't crowded either.

My DH and I love Narcoossee's! We've been there twice in the last year and a half, and we loved the food and service both times. In Jan, we had our anniversary dinner there, and it was WONDERFUL - we had an excellent waiter and the food was delicious! We have a dinner planned for our Sept trip. We always have late dinners (around 9:30), and we find it so relaxing and romantic!

We love Narcoossee's. The lobster and steak were outstanding, and the almond crusted cheesecake was the best!!!!!

It's our favorite restaurant at Disney, and we don't eat seafood. DH and I both love the filet and scalloped potatoes -- yummy! I'm doing Weight Watchers, so I'll be avoiding some of my traditional favorites at many Disney restaurants when we go in September. But I've already decided Narcoosee's is the one thing I'll splurge on that week!

Hi, We(family of 5) were at Narcoossees on Saturday July 18th,to celebrate my DD's 25th Birthday. The food was VERY good. The service was TERRIBLE!!!! When I checked in(at 7:35pm) we were told that they were running 20 minutes behind and we could go to the bar. We chose to wait in the lobby and were called after about 10 minutes,the restaurant was MAYBE a 1/4 full and they seated us in the BAR?? (note- NOT that many guests if any had left in the 10 minutes we waited) I SHOULD have requested a different table but this seemed okay UNTIL some GUESTS showed up at the bar. (we would later realize that they knew the bartenders and manager) It became a little cramped and a bit rowdy at the bar table,which was fine, I am all for everyone having a good time BUT there were still empty tables on the main floor?? At this point in retrospect even though we had ordered, I should still have asked to be moved . We recieved our drinks and were waiting for the 4 appetizers we had ordered to share.When the apps came we had no dishes to eat them on and no serving spoons for 3 of the apps??(my DD ordered all 4 so the server knew we were sharing) so we had to request them. At this time we also had no bread on the table,had to request that too. Now, food runners deliver the food and they brought us what we asked for, the server did not show up until after we were eating. The server was also not good about getting refills on drinks we had to ask her for them.The appetizers were DELICIOUS!! We however waited and waited and waited some more for our entrees. I was not timing it BUT after figuring when we were seated and when we were done it had to be about 45 minutes!! We think she forgot to put the order in when we had recieved our apps.because the restaurant was still not full and that kitchen seems to run VERY efficiently.(I had been watching the kitchen when we waited in the lobby for our table) This would have been ok if the server had FESSED up but at one point she told us it would be RIGHT out and we then waited another 20 minutes!! When our dinner did come 3 out of 5 dishes were wrong!! The server actually told us the kitchen messed up. So two of us have meals on the table and we start eating and 3 sit there. At this time the manager walks by and you would think he would STOP and wonder WHY this was happening in his restaurant?? But NO,he goes over to the table a few behind us and this is where the people from the bar are seated now and this is when I realize he KNOWS them. OK, so he walks by again when he is done with his friends and still does not stop?? So we eat our meal with once again no refills and we cannot find the server but since we are in the bar,my DD goes over to the bartender to get her brother a soda refill. I am REALLY not happy at this point BUT it is my DD's Birthday so I try not to make too much of it,because she is starting to feel real bad that she picked this restaurant. We have dessert,the server does put Happy Birthday on my DD's dessert plate. She never asks if we would like coffee or after dinner drinks. She has also never asked us if we are on the DDP. So before she brings the bill my DH tells her that we are using dining credits and the Tables in Wonderland Card.(for the apps and wine) He also says he will pay her in cash so do not put anything on the room key/charge. The server puts the whole 18% tip on the bill,not just the TIW card items. Now this has not been done to us before (although I have heard it can be done that way once you use the TIW card??) My DH is LIVID and says he will take off the discount he is not giving her 18% tip. At this point it is 10pm and time for WISHES,so myself,DD and DS go out on the porch and leave my DH and older DS at the table. He tells the server to take off the tip and she NOW gets the manager.Now you would think that the manager would wonder WHY my DH is so upset about the 18% tip?? But the manager just says that is how it is done. My DS gets involved and tells the manager that ON THE BILL it says suggested tip for the meal and on the TIW bill it says tip included 18%. So it is taken off. My DH does tip the server but not the 18% she expected. Watching WISHES from the porch was not good because there were at least 3 people smoking out there and LOTS of bugs biting.Not sure if you are allowed to smoke out there but during WISHES it seems RUDE. When we exited thru Narcoossees not one CM asked if dinner was good or even said goodnight. We will not be going back anytime soon. It was just a BAD experience. I am writing to Guest Services because I think they would like to know that Narcoossees was not being run very well on the night I visited. Joan

I feel your frustration exactly. Our anniversary dinner was not celebrated as we noted when we made our ADR there. Who's your server? Was her name "Diane or Diana"(an older waitress)? We had her twice and both times were terrible. I don't think she can handle any table with more than 2 guests. She's not capable to wait a bigger table and to deal with so many orders without messing up.

Hi, Our server was Lori,but I feel that the whole staff was VERY untrained and unprofessional. The manager ESPECIALLY was not doing his job at all. There was NO DISNEY MAGIC at Narcoossees. We had been to Citricos the night before and that was such a WONDERFUL experience all around, that Narccoossees was really such a let down. Joan

I'm so sorry you both had a bad experience. Do you think they possibly had an "off" night? Many others seem to have had great experiences. I hope your trips were still magical elsewhere!
