Narcoosees on DDP

Can anyone tell me if the lobster is still available to DDP patrons? Thanks!

Yes it is. There has been an unsubstantiated whisper that they may be removing the Lobster and the Surf and Turf. At this time it's VERY much a rumor and I wouldn't personally put a lot of stock into the demise of the Lobster and Surf and Turf.

Ooh, I hope it is a rumor only. That is the only reason we made a dining ressie there for mid-November with our DDP.

We ate there in August and YES....both the whole Maine lobster and surf-n-turf were in the dining plan.

We have ADRs at the end of the month and we soooooooo want the Surf & Turf. I will keep my fingers crossed til then...

I was so mad when I heard CapnJacks discontinued them. I know everything is subject to change..but I hate feeling like the package I bought in January (DDP) is offering less and less now.

Yes. And yes, IMO the Lobster and the Surf and Turf being what makes it worth 2TS credits. YMMV.

It was available in Sept. I'm not a lobster fan, but my husband is. However, they let me substitute scallops for the lobster (steak and scallops, ummm!!). That plus the almond cheesecake was definitely worth two credits. They gave me a full order of scallops and two steak medallions too, not a half order of scallops. The lady next to us ordered just scallops and asked the waitress why I had the same number she did, since I had steak with mine too. She was a little unhappy that she wasn't told she could have steak with her scallops.

I hope it will still be available in Feb! That is the only reason we go. My dh loves the lobster.

Narcoosees is now the only dining plan restaurant that offers lobster as an entree. (Some of the others may offer lobster appetizers - Ca. Grill had one for awhile - but if you're on the regular dining plan an appetizer isn't included anyway.)

Cap'n Jack's took the lobster tails off their menu last week. There's an unsubstantiated rumor (as Tricia said) that Narcoosees will follow suit. However, Jack's is a 1 credit restaurant and Narcoosees is 2, so it's possible they'll keep the lobster.

i just went ahead and made ressies for Fulton's Crab House. I know they're not on the DDP but the only ressie available for Narcoosee's was 9:30 at night...and that's just a little too late for me to be digesting food!

I'll use my extra TS credit for a sit down lunch or breakfast.

(ps, late time aside..adr's have not been hard to come by.)
