Narcoosee over California Grill

Hello! Trying to decide between the two for an upcoming stay at WDW. Looking for one "2 table service meal" as we'll have one too many credits in our dining plan given we arrive late on the first day. Right now, I'm hesitating between Narcoosee and California Grill. Recommendations? Should we consider another Signature restuarent? Which is your favourite? Thanks!

I used the DxDDP for my trip this past May. I am not a big breakfast eater, so chose to do an early lunch TS every day then did a 2 credit Signature meal every night. I dined at the Flying Fish, Yatschman, Artist Point, Jiko, California Grill, Citrico, and Narcoosee. I have also dined at CRT and Brown Derby several times in the past and have also done the HDDR. My favorite, by far was Narcoosee. Service was great, steak and lobster were devine, and their cherry almond cheesecake is to die for. The restaurant is cute, ask for a window table and time your meal When you finish walk right outside the restaurant and catch a boat back to the MK or take your time and walk around the beautiful grounds of the GF.

The view at California Grill was nice and service was great, but I would rank the steak I got there well below Narcoose's, Yacthsman, or even Le Cellier's. The sushi was good though. I had a pistachio cake that was just so so. Sorry, just wasn't really impressed with anything other than the view.

I really like both. If you are just adults, I would probably go with Narcoossee's.

Thanks for the replies. We'll be with our 5 and 3-year old. Are you saying dining at Narcoosee's would be a challenge (more than restaurants normally are with little ones anyway!)? Do people bring their kids there?

No, not at all, we take our kids to both. Cali Grill can get quite noisy, so I was thinking if you wanted somewhere quieter Narcoossee's might be better. Enjoy whichever you choose!
