I'm still neutral on this movie. I think it's incredibly stupid, yet I can't stop watching it if it's on. Like a train wreck.

I hated it. Thats two hours I am never getting back, although it seems everyone else loved it.

Totally hated it... and I love "Old School", etc...

Not really. Napoleon Dynamite takes place in the present day, yet much of the clothing, furnishings and references are very 1970's/early 80's. So it's hard to say it's generational.

I grew up in the 70's and early 80's, so I could say I relate to the background, or someone growing up right now could say they relate to the current references. It's a seriously weird movie.

yes, its set now, but it is filmed with a 70s "style" of film making. It looks like bad 70s home movies.

Loved it....unique humor.....definitely a "train wreck" movie...can't wait to see it again. I can understand how someone could hate it but personally I love the charachters and their inane behavior and mannerisms. Oh, my kids love it too!

I thought it was boring but DH was cracking up throughout the whole movie. I really didn't get it
