Napa Room-pay ahead or day of wedding

We are having lunch at the Napa room and I am wondering if my credit card is charged that day or before? Just wondering because I have an offer from Disney Visa for 3x points (for dining, groceries, gas, airlines). I am thinking if we pay that day it will come up as dining and any extra Disney points are a good thing I assume if we pay ahead the charge on my Visa is some misc wedding charge. If the dessert part came up as dining too.......

I don't know. My first guess is to say that if it is on your BEO that it will probably be due in advance. Maybe not? We weren't charged for our tea until the day of but we did it in the garden view lounge - it wasn't private.

If you are booking the Napa Room through DFTW as your reception, your balance for everything, including the Napa, will be due 30 days out. It comes across on your bank statement as Disney Reservations or some jumble of abbreviated letters/numbers like that.

Thanks for the info and I am booking everything through DFTW. I am getting a little stressed as our wedding is June 24th and don't have a BEO yet. I have been leaning towards upgrading to a Wishes wedding and talking with Bill. I shouldn't stress as I am sure it will all work out but I did have a dream/nightmare Fri that it was my wedding day and I had no transportation to SBP as we hadn't finalized everything

I had $900 and some disney dollars saved from that card - so I totally know where you are coming from. Just email Bill and explain about the points - he will completely understand. If there is anything they can do I am sure he will do it.
