Haha I love Ewan McGregor so that's why I'm wondering.

I like normal-ish names but not ones you hear all the time, if you get me.
I do like some original-style names and I was actually planning to use a name that I invented when I was little - but, tbh, being unique isn't that unique anymore. I mean, I did work experience at a primary school last year and the amount of kids with such random names was unbeliveable.

So, my favourite girls names are:

Allison/Allie
Alice
Melanie/Mel (from one of my favourite books, The Host)
Nikki (from another one of my favourite books, Airhead)
Hallie/Halle (I've just always liked that name, probably 'cause of The Parent Trap)
Amelia/Amelie (Princess Diaries, lol)

My favourite boys names are:

Elliot
Chace (Chace Crawford)
Nathanial/Nate (from 2 of my favourite things, Gossip Girl & 3OH!3)

I also think it'd be cute to use the names of the Disney Princesses as middle names for the girls.

Like, Melanie Arielle, Allison Belle, etc.

also, the name paula is really good.

Julia = Julia (the song was written for John's mother, actually)
Olivia = I didn't use it because of her actually, I saw the names together in a store, and I liked how they sounded.
Jude = Hey Jude
Maxwell = Maxwell's Silver Hammer
James = Harry's dad's name in the Harry Potter series...I didn't even think of that until you pointed it out.
Paul = Paul McCartney (one of my heroes)
Julian = John's first son's name, who Hey Jude was written for
