name spelled wrong on docs

I was just looking through my docs a little more closely and noticed that my name was misspelled ( Off by one letter). Do you think this will be a problem? I have a call in to my TA, but I thought I might get an answer here quicker .

It may be a problem...I'd call DCL and ask them...it might be quicker than waiting for your TA and you get it from the "source".

This happened to us on our last cruise and we did need to correct it. That cruise we booked through DVC so we just called them and they made the appropriate changes with DCL.
 
We were on the 4 night Wonder on May 23. My docs had my grandson's last name completely wrong. Our travel agency had it correct but Disney messed up. Our TA contacted Disney and they changed it in their records. All I did was draw a line thru the incorrect name and enter the correct one on our docs. When we arrived at the terminal, there was no problem at all, as Disney had corrected their records with the correct last name.
 

I just got a confirmation of my pre-booked shore excursions and they had my ds birthdate and year wrong. I called my TA and she called disney and changed it.
 
Don't you hate it when that happens, especially on important paperwork? :mad:
I'm sure your TA will be able to clear things up for you.

One question, though--was the misspelling on the confirmation letter(s) you got from Disney after booking? I ask because our last name was misspelled on our letter, and though I called and got it fixed and received a corrected confirmation letter from DCL, I wonder if the problem will still show up on our docs when we pick them up at the port. Hmmm...

Now that I go back and look at the confirmation letter (was from TA and not Disney), it was misspelled there too. I can't remember now if I called her about it then or if I just didn't notice it. I think that I might have said something in an email to her, but I am not sure. Hopefully, she can fix it for me.

They had my grandson's last name as Fessler instead of Broome.

As long as Disney changes their/its
records, it should be spelled correctly on all the paperwork they have at the terminal.

That was the case with us anyway. The last name was correct on the list they check when you drive in and also the room key/card had the correct last name.

I'd be sure to get something in writing from your TA showing the corrected spelling and take it with me just in case there is a problem.
 
All you need to do is have your TA contact Disney and they will have a new set of docments for that passenger waiting at the check-in counter. The manifest at the entrance to the terminal parking will be up to date as they print it the morning of the cruise due to last minute changes/cancellations. don't worry about it at all. Also they have the equipment to print tickets right in the terminal. Have a great cruise!
