Name something you lost or Something Stolen at Disney????

Last year I actually lost my shoe on a ride, so if you were there during July 24 - August 1 last year and saw a women walking though the park looking for a store that sold any kind of comfortable shoe - that was me!!!!!

We lost a cell phone but we got it back a few weeks after we got home. Thank you to whoever brought it to lost & found !!!

We seem to have bad luck with hats. Several years ago, DH's newly purchased WDW baseball cap was stolen off our stroller canopy in Fantasyland. Then last Nov. my DS lost his Colorado Rockies baseball cap in Epcot. Neither was turned in to our knowledge, so we eventually replaced both. We also lost an insulated water bottle holder that was turned in, which was nice.

Oh, and here's something aggravating! We had rented a locker at the MK and were clearing it out at the end of the day...DH turned around and someone had grabbed the key out of our locker to turn it in for the cash refund! DH was pretty peeved...we certainly learned the hard way that there are some not-so-nice people in the happiest place on earth!

A brand new pair of Serengeti sunglasses! We ended up going to some sunglass store in Mercado village and I bought a pair of maui Jim's. (I still have them 7 yrs later!)

I lost a camera in 95 and never got it back.
Last summer DH lost a pager. By the time we returned to our resort, noticed it was gone, he called AK and they already had it. I also lost a diamond & gold bracelet on our last day. We checked a few times before we left and it wasnt found. After being home less than a week it showed up in my mail!

I lost a roll of film at the Disney Store at DTD, fortunately it was found and turned it!

DD lost her fanny pack and someone turned it in to lost and found at MK.

We have been lucky to get back what we have lost and the CM's helping us were great!

My DH left our camcorder in Toontown next to a bench near the train station.

He didn't realize it until we got back to the Contemporary! He ran back and it was gone. He went to Lost of Found and there it was!

I don't remember any other lost/found stolen stories...

While staying at the Yacht Club, had persciption medication's taken from my make up bag hidden in my suitcase.

While staying at the Contemporary in 1998 we had a bag of medicines (mostly cough/cold stuff) and a digital thermometer stolen out of our room. The hotel management could not have cared less.

22 Years ago, my wife and I were on or Honeymoon in Disney. During a visit to River Country, she lost her Engagement ring in the sand bottomed swimming hole.

The lifeguards got out using snorkle equipement and managed to find the ring. Took about an hour.

Whilst in Hollywood and Vine someone stole my Gucci sunglasses out of my pocket.

Ive been lucky because i dont think ive ever lost anything while at Disney. If i have it cant have been very significant

My DH and DSs went to eat at Roaring Forks while I went back to the room after returning from parks. At 10:00pm I realized that the backpack that my son was carrying was missing. Tried to think where it could have been left. Sent my DH down to Roaring Forks to see if they left it there. Sure enough that's where it was.

My boyfriend left his sunglasses in the pouch on Dinosaur...I put my bag in there, and he told me he put them in there with it, but I thought he meant put them in my bag....not just on top in the pouch....we realized it, went back and asked, and they said some had been turned in, but already sent to the front. We checked at the front a few times, but no go. We didn't bother to leave an address, they were cheapos.

Back in the early 90s, when I thought I was hot stuff in my crafty grandmother's baseball caps, I lost a white baseball cap with jewels glued all over it. We rode BTMRR and grandmother was keeping the cap, she'd done it several times, and kept it between her knees. This time she must've moved and it fell out. We talked to the front and they got our information and it arrived at my house soon after! I'm so glad I could continue wearing that lovely creation. hehe

I was just sure I would get it back, as a CM would have to retrieve it from the restricted ride area after the ride closed. I checked several times with lost and found and nothing. I left my address and just knew it would turn up in my mail and still waiting. I loved that hat!

We lose something every trip,and NEVER get it back!! Lost and found never gets any of our stuff.

Dd brand new red sweat shirt with hood and front pocket with pooh peeking over the pocket.

Hats-My $45 double straw hat- My replacement straw hat $25
Dd's Universal Crew Hat lost while on stage at the Sound Stage.

Small Cooler and 2 6pks of pop by rental car workers I forgot it for 2 minutes went back it was gone no one had ever seen it although they had cleaned out the car in that time.

I found in the DL parking lot a bag, from the make a teddy bear bag with teddy and it's bed and expensive perfumes and a childs wallet with $100. in it.
I turned it in to lost and found at Dl and told both DTD stores that the bag had been found and turned in to the park lost and found.

We check the next day to find out if it had been found by it's ower's and it had!! Dd was so glad the child got her things back!!

In 2000. I left my sunglasses in my seat while riding Spaceship Earth.

I didn't even bother to go back - by the time I realized they were gone, I am sure they wouldn't be returned.

I seem to have the worst luck with sunglasses - I can't even count how many I have lost over the years.

Although, DH did buy me a new pair - which I lost that next summer

I am on a roll with my current pair - 6 months....maybe I have learned my lesson!

on our last trip I left my camera at the entrance to Kali River Rapids. I did not realize it was gone until about 20 minutes after finishing the ride [close to 45 minutes after I left it at entrance]. I went back to the entrance and the CM had put it in a small cabinet off to the side.

Also on this trip my DW left her fanny park on the monorail from the Poly to TTC when we got off to switch to the Epcot monorail. The CM driving the next monorail from Poly got on the radio and found the fanny pack for us and told the driver of that monorail to leave it at the Poly for us. We picked it up later,

In the days before they put renters names on the strollers we had 2 strollers disappear on us in the MK. Luckely we didn't have any possessions in it either time.
