Name something you lost or Something Stolen at Disney????

Rebecca12345 --Very funny!! Something like that would definately happen to me.

OK my story: We were at WL last June and DH (who seems to be a pretty smart guy but sometimes lacks in the common sense department) goes to the pool with his watch on. So he takes off his watch and leaves it by his chair and then forgets about it. The next day he goes to put his watch on and can't find it. We checked lost and found but it was never turned in. I think he was just looking for an excuse to buy a new Mickey watch:rolleyes:

figment95 Sounds like your husband has gotten the 'oops I gotta replace my watch' action down just right! Gotta love those Mickey M watches! :smooth:

Every trip to DW, without fail, I lose my sense of reality. No kidding. And it never returns until about 2 or 3 days after my trip ends. Every time. How 'bout that? (LOL)

My huge (6' long) super-plush towel was stolen right off my deck chair in one of the most crowded sections of Blizzard Beach. I vow never to take anything but a resort towel to the water parks now.

It's hard to find towels that are long enough for me... :(

Okay during our trip this past November we lost a couple of things....At AK we were having my DD's pictures taken with Pooh and friend and my father put his digital camera around his neck...well off to It's Tough To Be A Bug we go and my parents realize that they lost thier camera bag which includes extra batteries. After blaming each other and my dad repeating the value of the contents we retraced our steps and found the camera bag with all of it's contents.;)

During the same trip my DS and my neice left their sweatshirts on the wall by the Rock n' Rollercoaster. We realize that they have lost them all when we are all the way over by Muppets 3-D. My DH and the kids walked all the way back and the sweatshirts were right where they left them....They returned to the rest of us after riding RNR one more time. What's up with that???

A couple of success stories for us...and by the way my parents are still blaming each other!!!:smooth:

I can't remember anything I lost but my Sister and I found a man's wallet at the bus stop at DTD. It was FULL of money (lots of $100 and $50). We turned it in to a cast member and then worried our whole trip if the person had it returned to them. Maybe we should have made an attempt to look through it for info or room key.

At Blizzard Beach my sis lost a Ziploc bag with her keys and over 20 dollars CASH in it, and when we left at the end of the day she stopped at lost and found and someone had turned it in, 100% intact!!

When one of my sons was 2, he lost a red cap that said "Pooh" on it in one of the parks.

having a wonderful dinner at Coral Reef and then going with my family into Journey into Imagination. I paid for everyone's picture t's and then put my wallet into my backpack, but must not have pulled the drawstring closed enough. We went quickly to test track, too long of a wait, went over to Norway for the boat ride and as I was climbing in and taking my backpack off my shoulders I noticed the worst!

I think we rode because it was too late to get off and then quickly ran through the path back to Imagination. But it was dark, Illuminations was beginning and the cm in Imagination said no one turned it in. Over to Guest Relations (I was in tears). My wallet had a few hundred in cash, all of our park hoppers, one credit card, my DVC card, my DS cm id (I don't know why I had so much with me! ).

No one ever turned it in; we went to lost and found daily (and boy are there lots of sunglasses!) Even if I had just gotten my wallet back I would have been happy to have my faith back in humankind. I would have given a reward!

We had to buy all new hoppers and I was sad the rest of the trip. My DD9 said it was the least magical trip of all. Luckily, it was toward the end of our trip. (The same trip, my husband broke his toe going into the pool at the BW on the first day-imagine his comfort level walking around the parks, and a few other little disappointments)

I had my watch stolen from my beach cover up at the pool at the Poly....
It was a Gucci too!!

I removed it just prior to entering the pool and I guess someone saw me do just that....a lesson learned.

I called Lost and found on and off for a long time...no luck.

I also left a pair of new sunglasses in the little Pooh shop at Splash mountain in the change room. I went back right away..they too were gone.

Oh well...

DS lost his fanny pack (with hopper inside!!) I was able to get that replaced. We were at FW and pretty sure that was the last place it had been and reported it. A week later I got a call from FW asking if we had lost anything and to describe it. They sent it out immediately:D They found it at the campsite. Still wondering how we missed it.

We just got home today and when my niece was packing last night the disney ears that were in the room were no longer there. We think the housekeeper may have thrown them away by mistake.

my daughters brand new minnie ears baseball cap flew off on the parking lot trolley. it was in central lost and found the next morning. My father in law lost his prescription sunglasses on rock n roller coaster. turned in by the end of the day. My daughters lovey, her most favored and beloved doll was dropped at the end of a very long day. My exhausted hysterical daughter was all but unconsolable when a young man came up, stated he saw us drop her at the gates of the Magic Kingdom. He followed us all the way to the buses for Port Orleans, which at the time was the last bus stop. He and his girl friend were off site and would never have needed to walk in that direction. The funny part was this was such a nice young man but he was scary looking. A big man, with tattoos and piercings, but he went out of his way for our little girl. They refused any reward and went on their way. The next day, we saw them again (it must have been fate, because boy is the world big), and they were debating wether or not they could afford a souvenir. My DH bought it and had my little girl bring it over to them. They were sooo thrilled, I just love Disney.

This past Wednesday, we were eating at the Crystal Palace for lunch and have left behind 1 roll of film. DH is pretty sure he left it when he changed the film in the camera while taking pictures of the characters with our grand-daughter. We've called lost and found but nothing yet. I'll try again next week - but this one may be gone :(

Also, DH didn't remember to take his hat off on BTMRR so it blew off as we rounded a curve... no biggie on that one though. I'll see if it turns up as well, next week.:(

Awww, kidzmom3, the story of your dh buying that guy the souvenir brought tears to my eyes~how sweet was that!:Pinkbounc

Well, just 2 days ago, younger DS lost his driver's license & Key to the World while snorkeling in Serenity Bay. I don't know why they make you take picture ID off the ship at Castaway Cay! Guest Relations was able to make up a new Key for him, but he's off to the DMV today to get a new license!

My boyfriend lost a fleece sweatshirt at MGM. He thinks he left it at an outside table by Hollywood and Vine, but when we returned back there moments later, it was gone. Lost and Found didn't have it either. :(

While picking up my sunglasses at central Lost and Found I was talking to the CM and she told me you wouldn't believe what gets turned in. The funniest thing she ever saw was dentures from Space Mountain, Yuk!:p
