Name on reservation

I just made a reservation for someone and got a confirmation email. I am renting out the points for this so of course I wont be on this trip. On the reservations details page it has my name listed at the very top but then lists the four guests who will be staying. My renter is a little nervous that they will ask for me at check in. She has rented before and has never seen the owners name on the confirmation before. This is my first time making a reservation for someone else. This is also the first time I have gotten the email confirmation rather than the hard copy mailed. This wont be a problem will it? I think not but no reason not to double check. I'm also going to call MS tomorrow but wanted to see if anyone here has run in to this yet. I know the email confirmations are somewhat new. Thanks.

Rather than call MS, check the online tools to see if you can delete your name or otherwise modify this reservation.

I just looked at my reservation that I made for my cousins who are traveling with me in August, but will be in a different room. My name is not on their reservation.

It should not matter but I would just contact MS again and simply tell them that when you got the reservation you noticed that you are listed as a guest and you will not be one for that trip.

Or, send them an email through the member website asking them to make sure the guests are correct. I did that to clarify things for our August trip since there are 14 of us and when I made the reservation, we had not really figured out who would be in what rooms. Once we did, I sent it to them so it was in writing and easier to adjust.

My name has always been on the reservations when I have rented and I have seen the owner's name too I have never had a problem checking in

Your renters will not have a problem with your name at the top of the page. The names most important for the reservation are the people listed as guests.

It ALWAYS has the members name on it since THE MEMBER is the one who is RESPONSIBLE for any damage, they are staying there as THE MEMBERS GUESTS

I rent frequently and for the last two rentals thats what my emailed reservation receipt says. The DVC owners name/address is on the top of the letter, but my name is listed as the guest. Don't worry, its fine. You can also access your reservation online too.

If you are the owner, then your name will be on the top right of the confirmation and the cousins names will be listed below as the guests
