Hi all. I've googled and can't come up with the name of the Ice Wine that is on the wine flight in the wine store in Germany.

Anyone know?

Jen

My DH loves ice wine. Do you know what a bottle of this wine costs?

Not sure exactly but I know it was under $40. Dh thinks it was around $26. I thought it was closer to 40 but definatly cheaper the our usual Inniskilin.

It is definitely under $30, which is why I was looking for it online. :) Everything we find locally starts at about $50.

Thanks for the reply.

I really don't think that's correct. I know when I bought a very, very, small glass it was around $15....I want to say a bottle was well over $80. I'm not swearing by this, but I remember wanting a bottle, but it was way over my price "comfort range". I wouldn't have blinked at $30.

You might trying to find a menu on allears.net This is a great resource to find information about what is served and prices.

@ Scrappy_Tink: Remember it is the wine store and you could be talking about a different wine than what they were serving on the wine flight recently. I'm almost positive that the one on the wine flight was $26.95. I KNOW it wasn't over $30 because we were so shocked by the prices when we got home.

@smileycrissy: Thanks so much for that link. Odd that it is listed in domestic dessert....(domestic part is odd...maybe it is made in the US?)

@skiingfast: I checked allears.net first. This wasn't in a restaurant that we tasted it. It was in the wine store.
