Name art?

This is a horrible image, but I still can't find the cord to my new camera, so I took a picture of a picture :)

Also, I wanted mine to say "To All Who Come to This Happy Place...Welcome" above her name. I didn't want it to have the art be the word "welcome" like most they do. Well I didn't noticed that they didn't write welcome in the plain calligraphy pen. I have to go back to add that anyway, so it's not a problem for me to get your art while I am there.

Art work at Disney is just amazing. :cheer2::cheer2: Hats off to their perfection.. Don't know about the present

We love ours. I will try and post a photo. With matt, frame and 8 letters it was just under $100.00

Here is ours. I really want to go in October when they do the Villains characters that I read about on old threads.

I went in Oct/11, and had my name done. I had the artist do it in Halloween characters and it turned out amazing:love::love::love:. There's a witch, bride of Frankenstein, Frankenstein, a werewolf, and Dracula with his castle. I LOVE it, asked him to get really creative with it, and he did an outstanding job. Please note that it's worth to get the frame and matting for the art, as the 6x6 format is very difficult to find in frames in general. I ended up finding a frame close to the size and using good quality scrapbooking paper framed it myself, using floating photo holders.

I love looking at everyone's name art. :artist: They are amazing! If you have a character for every letter, do you get to specifically choose what he/she draws, choose a theme (princess or villains, etc.) or is it up to the artist to decide?

We are going in October and can't wait to get this done for my kids. I am thinking of just paying extra to have it framed on-site so I don't run into issues of trying to locate the right size frame and matte elsewhere. If I am not staying on-site, does this mean I have to lug 2 frames around all day, or will they store it for you? Do they offer ship to home services for a fee? Anyone know?

Also, any extra info on costs of art, matting, framing etc. would be helpful so we can budget. Thanks.

Here's the name art I had done in Oct/11. I specified that the first letter was a witch, and the rest I left to his imagination. It was the first time the artist had done something like this, and he was thrilled for the chance to get really creative.

Since no one has shown the simpler version of the name art, here are the 2 of mine I had done on a couple of different trips. They were the last I time I had the last one done in Feb/11 was $26, so the price has gone up since when I bought them. I finally found a frame I could both of them into. The best souvie I've gotten at the parks.

We picked which characters we wanted, I'm not sure if we said a specific order, but we could have. We wanted as many "boy" vs "girl" characters.

They gave us a return time and held it for us the entire day, we picked it up after the fireworks.

I recommend getting the mat/frame done as well, in the long run, unless they really don't have the colors you want, it will be cheaper.

We had one done in April for DD. We picked the theme - Princess. It turned out great. I don't know how to post a pic..and c/p isn't working either.:confused3

Thanks Belledozer for the great pics. Your Halloween one is really neat :)

Thank you for all the feedback Silence. It's especially good to know I don't have to lug the frames around all day :cool1:

I love that Halloween one!! How awesome is that? We had the simple versions done for our girls, they both picked their main character.

Love the Halloween theme. I want to get Villans, I.e. Maleficent with my name in October.
We found they were reasonably priced matted and framed.
