Been a while since I wrote but reading all the time.
Planning a trip 5 days in May
(Had to cancel 3 since June-life kept getting in the way!!)

Will make Room only reservations
Can I purchase tickets w/park hopper option and add dining option later on separate from room or must dining be part of a package?

Seems cheaper if you can do it separately.

It is my understanding that you can only add the dining plan as a package (room + tickets).

It is my understanding that you can only add the dining plan as a package (room + tickets).

Some people are posting that they can add dining to postcard rates, MYW tickets and others aren't allowed to do this. I wish CRO would be consistent. The tickets part is normal, it's adding dining to a postcard rate that's the problem.
