We had our Thanksgiving meal at Mythos! The regular menu items were also available but we decided to have the Thanksgiving feast. My husband and I had the shrimp salad, which was a very nice mix of greens and tomatoes with four medium size shrimp on top. It was good. Our older son chose the butternut squash soup which I tasted. It was delicious--I should have had the soup! The main course had white and dark meat turkey with gravy, cornbread dressing, garlic mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, yams and asparagus. Everything was good, although we all commented that the dark meat was kind of tough. Our 11 y/o had the kid's version, which came with dressing, mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. There were three desserts offered. DH and I had the pecan pie which was really good, but so rich I couldn't finish it all. DS11 had the apple pie a la mode and DS14 had the pumpkin pie and liked it very much.
It was a very nice Thanksgiving meal at our favorite UO restaurant. BTW, earlier in the week we had a regular meal at Mythos. If you ever get the chance to have the spinach risotto with braised short ribs in a burgundy wine sauce, jump at the chance--it was outrageously good!
