This review is short since we only had an entree here, but it is a great restuarant.
We missed our ressie on Sat., so I had to talk Steve into going at 11:30 on Monday. He was nervous because our town car was picking us up at 1:15 for a 3:05 flight. I knew we would have plenty of time though.
We walked in at exactly 11:30 and were seated right away. It is such a cool interior for a restuarant, I really enjoyed it. Our waiter was great and there were only a few other patrons in the restuarant, plus one huge group that was seated outside. We were seated at a table and I wished we could have been seated at one of those cool looking booths, but perhaps they save them for people with reservations or larger parties.
Our bread and drinks were served - the bread was great, maybe a sourdough, and nice and warm. I ordered the balsamic chicken and LOVED it! It had mushrooms and pearl onions in a balsamic sauce and the chicken was moist and flavorful. I really like mushrooms and onions in dishes and this was just great. It was served on top of a kind of potato pancake - it was good, a little too spicy, but good. Steve ordered the wrap of the day and he loved it. It was beef, mushroooms, onions, mashed potatos and gravy all wrapped in in a soft spinach tortilla. The portions were great and I did not think the prices were too high either.
Next time we go, I will look forward to going with the kids and having a dessert, but this time we just didn't have time. I definetely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
