Mystery Woman w/Teddy Bears at Grand Floridian Mystery Solved!!

Paying almost a thousand Dollar per night it is well payed food. And the CM on that level are always very polite and helpful. As they always state "your guests are our guests" so there would be nothing to stop us by sharing this perk with anyone we want.

I was wondering if you noticed my post about sharing your "perks"?

Stop and offer your club level perks to the needy, not just this lady w/the teddies, offer it all around to those less fortunate. :thumbsup2

I just got off the phone with Disney. This is NOT their policy. Please don't post things like this. Call and check for yourself.

Maybe you would give some thought to stopping at a homeless shelter in central Florida and offering those in need "the perks and food of the club level" as well. I am so sure the volunteers at the shelter would be thrilled at your offerings to those in need. :thumbsup2

And you think they would let me hand out food witch I stole from a resort just like that to complete strange children?
I would be thrown in jail for harassing strangers. :lmao:

Do you really spend money on this? Wow.
I don't need to call. You spoke with someone at a call center but the people that really decide about this work in the resorts and yes they told us this before.

My point exactly. So I doubt you will be able to offer your perks to Lynne or anyone. It was ridiculous to even say that to begin with. :headache:

(we had the leftover cake boxed up to take back to our resort.) It was a beautiful Castle/Cinderella cake and they offered to get us a standard cake to take back, but we didn't want it.

Anyway, we left the rest. with DD sobbing in her Cinderella costume and DH and I trying to calm her down, when this sweet lady came up to us and pulled this beautiful white teddy bear out of a bag that had on a mini Fairy Godmother costume with a wand in the hand. DD's eyes lit up and she smiled so big and said a big thank you to this lady. I was crying also by then and couldn't say much, when the lady said, "A beautiful teddy for a beautiful little birthday girl."

How did a stranger know it was your daughter's birthday?

As a paying club level guest, I would be very upset that the concierge allows people to bring total strangers into the lounge. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

What money?

Thank goodness!! Now I think I need to step away from this thread before I "catch" the "misery" (which can be fatal - strokes; heart attacks; ulcers; etc..) :rotfl::rotfl:

To anyone heading down to WDW soon, if you stop to chat with Lynne, be sure to tell her there's a whole bunch of people out here who appreciate the happiness she shares with others each and every day..:goodvibes :thumbsup2

Sending you also good vibes and as it is almost midnight in my part of the world I'm going to sleep with a clean conscience and enjoying "Cold Cases" on the tele. Goodnight.

O maybe you should just look a little bit closer when you enter the elevator.
There are always people hanging around and just sneak in with you. They always have that kind of innocent,I belong here look. Concierge knows this and will never ever ask for the KTTW card. Never upset the guests just let it go.

Really you care that much with what a total stranger posted on a message board that you would call Disney just to see!!! :confused3

every week in our local newspaper there is a list of volunteer programs you can sign up for in our community...I have noticed that they are NOT all for the homeless or less forunate....so does that make them any less important? I think not....what or how a person chooses to donate "their" time is "their" business...if you are more comfortable donating your time in a homeless shelter then that is wonderful of you...but don't try to tell me if I have chosen to spend my time going to homes or hospitals and spending a few minutes talking to an elder lonely person that I could be doing more good by going to a homeless shelter...

You can eat all you as much as you like inside the CL but be taking food out and hand it out to strangers is stealing.
And yes you can take somebody with you to enjoy these perks.

How does she get there? Drive over there everyday from her own home? She should go to a homeless shelter in her area and observe all the children and families in shelters today because of this economy. I am so sure she could bring allot more comfort with her bears to the needy in shelters today than the lobby of the GF. From what I have read Florida is one of the worst states hit by this decline in our economy.

Well after reading the last few pages of posts I still believe she would be a wonderful advocate in spreading her pixie dust to those less needy.

To those who do not ever get to WDW for a vacation. To those that do not have teddies.

How many homeless children even get a birthday cake? I would bet anything that a homeless child would love any birthday cake whether or not it was "backed into by a server".

I'm always amazed when people try to tell others how to spend their time. If she wanted to go volunteer at a homeless shelter, I'm sure she would. It's not your decision to make who she gives her teddy bears to.

The opp posted this thread in 2008 and has
only 17 posts- I doubt she even knows this thread
still is being discussed.
I still think it " creepy" for any non paying person
to hang out daily in any hotel lobby

Plenty of people read these boards without posting.

I didn't know that. I do apologize. I thought this was just a bunch of DISers discussing the lady. I didn't mean to hurt the sister's feelings.

I believe that :) I'd read your posts and don't remember ever seeing something that would make me think otherwise. (I don't stalk you... I just recognize your pretty wedding pic.)

OMG, enough about the NEEDY. If you want to give to the NEEDY so much, give up your WDW vacation and spend that money where it would be best used, with the NEEDY. Quit lecturing us about it.

Wow, really sad to speak about the less fortunate. :sad2:

Why does it seem that everyone is so mean on this thread? Please, as the holidays approach think of all those suffering in homeless shelters. TY.

I simply can not imagine-in this economy-or at any time-to spend that much $$$ to sleep in a bed at a WDW resort.
Simple amazing
:scared1:

I can't wait to meet her. She sounds wonderful. I love people who just like to sit and listen and people watch.

Just the same maybe you can stop lecturing all of us about the importance of this woman sitting in the GF with teddies.

you don't have to be in a shelter or homeless to be considered "less fortunate":sad2:

Oh I totally agree. My church supports so many organizations and I love being there to support the families that are "less fortunate". This time of year with the holidays approaching can be the saddest for many.
