MYSPACE question for you MYSPACE users

Can you see who's viewed your page? We just let somebody go at my work ... I went to see if she'd mentioned it on her myspace page ( ) and her profile has now been set to private. I don't have an acct., but I'm registered.
Just though that was peculiar.

I think once they set their profile to private, you have to be their "friend" to see it. At least that's what I recall, haven't been on myspace in ages.

Thats correct if its set to private only the people on your friends list can view it.

I figure she's probably just put her home number on there, since she used to get a bajillion personal calls at work.

If the user has a tracker on her page then yes she can see what users have viewed it. It depends on the type of tracker some are just IP addresses/locations others show the users name if they have a profile. I'm not sure how popular trackers are they weren't when myspace first came out but it seems they are becoming more popular!

MySpace doesn't let you use them. If they catch you with one, they block it from working & if you keep changing it, they will delete your account. At least that's how it used to be.....

So you mean I don't have to set my age to 14 for my page to be viewed privately? Someone told me that this is the way to go if I don't want just anybody to view my page, except those who are on my friend list.

I'm gonna go check and see where I can change it to private.

Go to your privacy settings and change it to "friends only".
